So the story is that After the Big G became the king of the Kaiju Genre, studios struggled to think of a way to marketably compete with Toho (Godzilla’s Owner). Then Daei made Gamera to compete with Godzilla to some… varying results. At the time my boy was only seen a Godzilla Bootleg for Kids but after his successful Heisei Trilogy (that outcompeted some of Godzilla’s films) he became a Japanese Culture Icon, appearing in another movie and an Anime on Netflix, bro went from a Godzilla rip-off to one of the few Movie Monsters that challenged Godzilla’s throne.

HoodyDude, you must understand. The only reason Kong got that win back in 62' was because Kong had just been mega amped twice, which allowed him to match Godzilla in shear strength and reflexes. Kong's special ability back in King Kong vs. Godzilla was having an electrical affinity, which not only made him stronger and faster but even hastened his reaction speed. It could even resuscitate and heal him, as well as allow him to channel electricity from his hands and mouth to shock and stun his foes. Godzilla, however, was given no such amps in the film and was even weak to electricity then, which would later show just how unfair and cheating this fight really was. In their first fight, Kong was amped by no such kenetic energies when he fought Godzilla, leading to them taunting and throwing giant boulders at each other. Kong managed to punch a boulder into Godzilla's face, but this only amounted to angering the King of The Monsters who fired back with a single shot of his Atomic Breath, roasting Kongs chest and burning away his fur, this led to Kong jumping from the pain, then scratching his head and cowardly stumbling away like a drunken, confused man. Later in Tokyo, Godzilla was reported to be approaching Tokyos shoreline. In response, the JSDF set up defensive electrical perimeters all around Tokyo carrying up to a million volts. Godzilla, upon making landfall, attempted to level and remove the high-tension wired fence standing in his way, but after the defensive perimeter was turned on it zapped him with a deadly million volts which seemed enough to sting and ward him off. However, once Kong arrived in Tokyo, it had a very different effect when turned on him. Not only was he immune to it, but he even seemed to draw power from it. Afterward, the JSDF put Kong to sleep using juice squeezed from Farolacton, a fruit known for its anesthetic-like effects. Kong was then hooked up to a bunch of large helium filled balloons being towed by helicopters. He would then be transported to Godzilla's last known location, Mount Fuji. Once Kong awoke from his drug induced slumber, he spotted Godzilla up ahead, scaling Mt. Fuji. He then began to stir in fear, shaking the rig he was hooked up to, where the pilots were then instructed to drop Kong over Godzilla. They complied, releasing the Ape over Godzilla where the Simeon slid down the mountain, knocking the reptile over, causing both Kaiju to tumble down the mountain. Both Kaiju got up, resulting in Kong hiding from the reptile in an attempt to ambush Godzilla and take him by surprise. This proved to be futile for the Ape as when he jumped out to surprise the lizard all it amounted to was Kong being physically overpowered, thrown around and bested through shear brute force and muscle. Godzilla eventually evaded the Apes combat roll where the Ape landed face first into a bunch of boulders, dazing him, which allowed the lizard to pummel him using his tail. Kong, however, was not out for the count yet, attempting to sneak up on and grab Godzilla's tail in one final desperate attempt. However, the Ape would get knocked out after one well placed blow of Godzilla's tail to Kong's temple, where Godzilla began beating him to death with his tail. Kong was down on his luck, but not before a lightning storm would occur around them, which struck Kong, revitalizing and healing him, giving him further strength, speed, and agility. He received so much kinetic energy from that bult of lightning that he could redirect the excess energy he had stored up in his body to release it from his hands and mouth, this would prove to be enough to go toe to toe with Godzilla. They began to duke it out, but this time, the battle was going in favor of Kong. Eventually, their fight reached all the way to the top of this hill, where they would tackle each other off the side of a cliffs face, sending them tumbling and plummeting into the sea below. They resumed their fight on the sea floor, but only Kong emerged, with Godzilla swimming away beneath the sea waves losing interest in their battle, ending in a tie. As you can see, Kong was given all the advantages, had all the tricks in the book, was given heavy plot armor, and still lost twice, and only stalemated him once after having his second, much more powerful amp. Just thought I should put this out for the record.

Round 2 was the first half of there 2nd encounter, and ends with the Axe Strike that sent both kaiju flying, Godzilla was toying with Kong in this round, which was Kong's win. Round 3, this was the Round were Godzilla was PISSED, since the strike from the axe hurt like hell and this singlar Great Ape was putting the hands on him, Kong would have died in this round if not for humans. That means the score for GvK is Godzilla:2 Kong:1. Since Kong won in 1962, and Godzilla in 2021, the 2 kaiju are tied up. Both are Goats.

My guy that's the POINT of death battle, they analyze every and I mean EVERY feat a character pulls off regardless if that character has more than one version of themselves or not. They did the same for gamera. Not death battles's fault there's more incarnations of godzilla than there are if gamera. Even then, gamera's strongest feats in his franchise don't even come close to godzilla's strongest feats and this death battle was done in 2014. Godzilla has shown many more stronger feats since then meanwhile gamera only shown like...2 impressive feats.

In the original, both monsters' roars could be heard as the screen faded to black. It was intended as a "final bow" from the titular monsters.
