You need an LMG with big mags, like 200 rounds, to lay big damage on the titans. RPG's work well too. Helicopter mini-guns rack up the points but don't get too close or you get swatted out of the air. Precision air strike and clusters rack big points. When you get a titan control I think you're supposed to use it to attack the other titan when it's dazed, but I've not managed to pull that off, so I might be wrong.
