I think there is something up with cod in general rn when the aim assist doesn't happen. I noticed it mainly when using the AK-74u in cold war. Like you can tell when the aim doesn't slow down on the target and it throws you off.

they made a petition about it when MW first dropped. People figured out they purposely input a system that makes your gun bounce slightly to the right no matter how fine your aim is which is fucked. There's also skilled based aim assist as well. If a player averages minimal movement, low accuracy and SPM their bullets register faster as if they fly in clusters vs an above average player who moves and gets kills bullets will completely fall off as if they're shooting blanks, not to mention they fuck with your initial fire accuracy as well . I have sooooo many clips of it happening to me. If you play rebirth solos you can really tell they haven't tweaked it like they have the other game modes
