This certainly reminds me a bit of 2000 honestly. There was a writer by the name of C.L. Weiner that wrote a lot of Godzilla fan fics called the "new era" where he basically followed up after Godzilla vs Destroyah and had Jr. in his adult form. It was a lot of reintroducing older Toho things in a 90's setting. (Weiner actually writes professionally for published WarHammer and other novels now, so it is nice to see him make a living off his talent). Anyhoo, one of the stories was Kong vs Godzilla. In the story the Americans made a Mechani-Kong to protect them from Godzilla. Kong's 76 movie was in the timeline but he survived his fall and was giving some stuff so he grew bigger. And the Red Bamboo use their funds for the construction of Gigan so they can use a cyborg to attack Japan. It was a really good story. Anyway, Kong having energy beams reminded me of it. Nice fight as usual in your video though :)

My perception of this timeline so far, I'm gonna assume that this takes place about the time that it was released since no date is Given like in the previous two parts. So emy returned to the future with kids after mecha king ghidorah was defeated, she felt bad that she had killed the other futurists earlier in the film, so she also went back before they went to the future and warned them that they would die if they went then, causing them to wait for several years. When they did go to the future several years later, theys took so of moguras parts that were just sitting around, and used them to build mechani kong, then they waited for the right moment to strike, which was this video.
