What I love about this movie is how the humans go out of their way to ignore Megaguirus, basically treating her as a minor annoyance, right up until she shows up and literally steals the show from them. The narrative itself tries to dismiss Megaguirus as insignificant, and she's just having none of that! This is HER movie now!

The reason the guy knows about the Meganulon is he explains they lives in the Carboniferous, meaning they have fossils of him. My best guess is the wormhole comes from a universe that is during the Carboniferous. That last part is my guess.

This is the weakest of the Millennium series, but it has good elements. Godzilla and Megaguirus were awesome, and had a great fight. The CGI got rough and the humans weren't interesting.

Not everything in the Millenium series was a reboot. Godzilla Against Mecha Godzilla had a sequel called Godzilla: Tokyo SOS. And I always assumed that the Millenium series went like this... 2000, Mechaguirus, Against Mecha Godzilla, Tokyo SOS, and then GMK as a reboot, and then Final Wars as another reboot.

Actually the black hole can distort reality and many people downplay it. But the fact Godzilla can survive it with no scratch is proof of how durable this kaiju is. But what many fans don’t understand is an artificial black hole, is still a black hole. It works the same. Has the same level of gravitational force. In fact it’s been stated that even a black hole the size of a nickel can take out the earth with ease. And the whole solar system. In fact the gravitational force of a black hole is confirmed more denser than a neutron star. Which is the heaviest object in the universe. Which means all black holes are solar system busters. The size merely increases the range not force. But the black hole can also distort space and time. Which means it can bend reality on a on 3-D scale.

Every time I see Megaguirus I think about Ninjask from Pokémon. Or a crazy mix of Ninjask and Yanmega. Probably that's the reason why I like this movie. Well, not the only one. Like in Godzilla vs. Destroyah before I really like the Horror Elements of this movie. And for me it's one of the Millennium movies I like the most. Probably because it tries something new, not again a movie with Mothra or Mecha Godzilla. Both are featured too heavily in the Millennium series imho.
