i think the best way to limit epoxy sanding going everywhere is to make the original sculpt that you mold more detailed! but since this is your first deep pour and you’ve had problem with molds before i totally get why you didn’t for this one, and it still turned out great!

It looks stunning!!! 🤩 the only idea I had was to make Godzilla’s head shiny, as it is just jumping out of a wave and therefore should be wet, right? So a glossy finish seems like it might be able to reflect that 🤔 I’m so amazed how good it looks 🙏🙏🙏

Should have rounded out those edges on the wave and added water foam to the tip of the wave to make it look more realistic.

I agree. Some “sea foam” would have helped. Or added a bunch of bubbles to break up the tip of the breaking wave. I also understand that maybe the depiction of the scale would not really show those kind of details. Either way it is sick.

This is mint. Although the 1mm grass was difficult to apply it seemed to be the best choice in the end. Looks phenomenal 🎉

First time on the channel and seeing all the elements come together between hand carving and 3D modeling was very impressive! I was hoping there would be some sort of shiny finish on Godzilla's face though given he'd still be wet bursting out the wave like that. The UV resin layered up like that for the splashes was a great idea!

When you were using your rotary tool I’d suggest either a Table Polisher Dust Box or Benchtop Abrasive Blast Cabinet but only if you have room for either of them in your shop. Some good idea for diorama are Batman & Catwoman or street fighter or mortal kombat or Gambit or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1990.

Absolutely amazing diorama! I have found with static grass that the smaller grass seems to really need the connection point closer to the place you are laying grass. I ended up having to clip it on to the warhammer base I was using to get enough charge. That could be why it didn’t fall properly?

I think the reason the static grass fell odd may have been your electricity method. Maybe try using a pin of some sort connected to the diorama base.

Nicely done. I have a question about modern Godzillas. Why does the modern Godzilla still have a Dad bod and Mom hips? Gone are the days of the reason why this was. God Zella was a suit that had to accommodate a man inside, yet since Godzilla’s been CGI’d, he’s still built like there’s a man inside him…or like jes wearing mom jeans. 1998 Godzilla was a modern, sleeker, cooler look that conveyed a giant kaiju lizard, not a man in a big lizard costume. Though they also changed his head, too.
