If they want a true franchise then they should use their villains sparingly. Do go right to the end boss villain(Destroyer) when you have plenty of viable villains to build to that end boss in sequence. Megalon and Gigan are 2 villains could play the main antagonist in 2 separate movies or team up in one film. Hedorah is another notable villain. Im sure that Legendary could really crank out some bitchin' monster designs. Just don't blow your money shot on a third film for a franchise than can churn out 4 to 6 damn good movies if they really try to and play their cards right.

Godzilla is key here. More focus needs to be done on Godzilla. He’s really the one most of us want to see. And I don’t want to see any movie that’s going to harm him or try to kill him off. If I get a whiff of any of that happening I’m not even going to bother watching it. To me, Godzilla is always going to be the hero and the baddest of the monsters.

Let's face it, the last 2 movies have been King Kong movies. I want a proper Godzilla movie with Godzilla being more of a hardened hero. I would love a darker monster design with an orange energy. Basically colors of a biohazard sign. That would hit the mark. If Godzilla is the King of the Monsters then give us a Monster that truly justifies his title. If he is King of the Monsters than he should be able to handily beat any other Titan unless he is ganged up on.

I think it’s still too early for Destroyah since he was the final boss for Godzilla before she died, and that was only Destroyah in his 2nd form. This time around it should be Destroyah getting beat by both Kong x Godzilla in his 2nd form just form him to mutate further and become his Final form needing Gamera to finally Return and crossover to help both Kong x Godzilla expanding the monsterverse 🔥🔥🔥🔥 or do something different and have Ghidorah return as the antihero and help

i LOVE the monsterverse, my only issue is that godzilla and kong both seemed to have been downsized and im not a fan of that. the way godzilla was presented originally (at least in the current run) when the dude and kid were on the monorail thing and the military shoots flares up, he is nothing short of GIGANTIC, now he is curling up inside a stadium? samuel l jacksons war with kong was also epic because of how truly massive he was portrayed, not so much now.

The Precursors could bring in a parasitic kaiju through one of the portals which could be ancient Breeches. Don't use destroyah! He needs his own arc. I say finish this out with space godzilla. Apparently the "evil godzilla" talked about before grew wings..so a large bipedal monster with wings DOES sound like destroyah..but it COULD be space godzilla with large shoulder Chrystal. (He can fly through telepathy so maybe they saw them as wings) Regardless, I think the introduction of the antigravity Chrystals in hollow east is a PERFECT intro to space godzilla He's telepathic (the Chrystals affect grabity) He Apparently formed after absorbing something..probably some Chrystal or hollow earth power source AND he technically is a godzilla as described by the ancient text that described it

The problem here is with Hollywood. Minus One and Shin are levels above Lengendary's offerings. America and Hollywood have a stupid tendency to favor appealing to the masses for commercial success, instead of focusing on a really engrossing and gripping story. And to deal with the inevitable power creep, he upgraded to PINK flames. But not in a woke way. They’ve taken a satirical commentary about Japan’s collective about the existence of nukes in the world (and more importantly: nukes used ON THEM), and now we’re intentionally setting them off in their lairs, because absurdly large monsters as proxies for the unfathomable ruin of nukes didn’t sell, so now “We’ve mastered fission!” isn’t the unchecked danger, it’s just proof that humanity can finally sit at the grown-up table. We’ve passed through “silly and childish” long ago. The monsterverse is what happens when Roger Rabbit pulls Excalibur from the stone.
