They teased it with the promo hand prints but then made it seem like he never has been to the surface. The whole Mothra thing was confusing. We had an idea in KOM that the 2 Asian sisters has a connection with mothra what happen with that ? I guess I just wanted more continuity

Was a fun movie, and I appreciate the kong perspective. Story is a little silly at times but to be expected for this kind of movie. What I appreciate most is the imaginative way the story being told and the director is being smart about the budget which means more movies will get made long as it turns a decent profit which I am sure it will, especially with children or younger audiences.

I'll be honest and say I had a lot of problems with Godzilla vs. Kong as an overall movie. I felt it was very sloppy in terms of both human and kaiju stories, and I had very little confidence in Adam Wingard going into this movie. He won me over a bit more this time around, though. Lots of the problems I had were reversed or mitigated one way or another, and I had a much better time with GxK than GvK. The human storyline is meh, but Wingard knows that and just sidelines it as much as physically possible. The monsters are very much the main characters this time, in a way they've never been before. It's an interesting new approach for the franchise, and now I'm actually hoping that Wingard gets to direct his third movie so we can see his plans for Godzilla as a character. I do want to say that bare-minimum human characters should not be the norm going forward, however. I'm a fan of the Showa Toho movies first and foremost, and they (almost) always delivered on both the human and kaiju fronts. It's totally possible to do both well. Shin and Minus One prove it's still possible.

I love the movie, however I really really hope is there is a sequel, please give us a deeper dive into Godzilla’s history and his personality, I know he’s supposed to be like a lone samurai that likes his solitude but will take up his sword to defend the world, now atleast with Mothra you can do a lot to make Godzilla seem more humanized like how Godzilla was during the eygpt scene where Godzilla was clearly happy to see Mothra, you can clearly tell he cares for her, so yeah more of those type of scenes …. Or heck just make Godzilla find an egg of his species that hasn’t hatched and give him an adoptive son or daughter, personally I would say daughter, I know in the past Godzilla had a son, but in my mind, it’s like how male lions kick out male cubs because they are potential rivals, Godzilla is an apex predator and may not take to kindly to a possibly rival, but if he finds an adoptive daughter, he may be more protective of her, plus, I like to imagine girl dad Godzilla, it’s a funny image

If they can stop cutting off fights so short that would be great. An awesome monster fight begins and it either the camera cuts to another scene and the fight ends or Godzilla uses his atomic breath too much and ends the fight too early… I wanna see some dmg and some brawling. For example, would have to loved to see a more extended fight with Godzilla and Tiamat, or even an extended fight with Kong and that water Serpent.. Or hell would even loved to see Scar king kill some humans and just massive slaughter to emphasize that evilness. I would love to see more MOTHRA being in major fights too, instead of getting thrown into the side lines. Would love to see her aid. Godzilla and Kong in other sequels. She’s such a major THIRD monster to this franchise.

one of the biggest easter egg's I have founded during this movie is that before Jia and the monarch people discover the home of the Iwi people a little dragonfly like creature came out of the vast jungle and perched itself on the web like substance that was protecting the entrance to the Iwi's tribe home jia tried to touch it but it fled off. I think that dragonfly is a reference to and possibly a indication to the future of one of Godzilla's foes of the millinium age The Queen Of The Meganulon Megaguirius! now I know there were rumors that Space g might be next in line for the MV but seeing that dragonfly makes me feel like some point in the future Megaguirus will be Godzilla's next foe and when she pops her ugly head she will be a powerful and intimidating opponent of The King Of Monsters indeed but thats just my theory we may not get Megaguirus at all who knows!

@@GhidorahFan64 to be fair, Adam did shift the focus on Kong more compared to Godzilla in both GVK and GXK so Kong should be grateful that both movies were more Kong centered. He even admitted in the commentary that on GVK that movie was Kong focused.
