The orange ape all the other apes looked scared of is called Skar King. The orange child ape is named Suko and the rumor is believed that the titan Kong looked very scared of (Shimo, believed to be bigger than all of them including Godzilla) is enslaved by Skar King and that's why he has the giant whip around him. Kong either got injured from fighting Skar and that's why he needs the gauntlet (real name being the Beast glove) or either from the frost Shimo blasted which did somewhat froze a part of Kong's hand.

I’m excited for this movie. Although I think the first trailer was the stronger trailer because it was better edited & put together & the music choice worked unlike with this new trailer, but that’s just my opinion. But I’m still excited because the movie looks really good.

@@WinnerMentality7 Except Kong was holding his battle axe in his right arm to block the blast in the trailer. In fact, the blast never hits his arm. And even if the blast did hit his arm, that still doesn't explain why Kong doesn't a B.E.A.S.T. glove on his left arm as well when the Skar King uses its whipslash on it.
