Yup The downplay I’ve seen on the king of hollow earth goes really hard (I think before “King Kong ties with behemoth” the weirdest I’ve seen is “Muto pair negs King Kong” or “one tail whip from Godzilla, no matter which version, and King Kong bones will snap”…and that’s just a mere taste of how restarded some of the G glazers are) He definitely scales above 80-90% of the titans in the monsterverse, even including 2 alphas- skar king and mothra. It’s just the very top dogs like Godzilla, shimo and King ghidorah that he doesn’t defeat or has a very low chance at doing so

To hark on kong being set on fire, the fuel that was used was napalm, which burns at 5,000 degrees compared to lava which can get to around 1,300 up to 2,000 Keep in mind kong was swinging in this stuff, as well as in gxk was walking on volcanic rock without an issue, the problem with kongs, and his species as a whole when it comes to heat resistance is when their whole body is submerged in it, however rodan would have to fight close to a volcano big enough to fit kong in it and push him in to effectively use this

I agree for the most part. Accept one singular thing. I think that Kong beats Rodan anywhere between 70 or 65 percent of the time, but I still think Rodan has a decent chance for only a single reason. Rodan’s speed is incredibly important, and I think if he decided to charge Kong at Mach 1.7, I think Kong would be in trouble no matter what. Either critically injured if hit in the chest or back, or possibly have one of his limbs completely severed from his body if hit in the arms or legs. So while I do think Kong wins more times than not, I still think Rodan wins a decent chunk of the time.

As a Godzilla fan, I respect the King of the Hollow Earth. Kong is one of the strongest and most intelligent Titans out there. The big monke was able to contend with Skullcrawlers on a daily basis as a teenager, fought and killed the Skull Devil: Ramarak, survive an onslaught from Camazotz and his minions and defeat him with some assistance, fought and killed 2 Warbats on his first day through the Hollow Earth, proved to be a worthy opponent for Godzilla and gave him a HELL of a fight on 3 separate occasions, helped Godzilla kill MechaGodzilla despite both he and Godzilla were worn out from their previous battle, fought a Spineprowler, proved more than a match for the Titan Hunter mech unit, thrived in the Hollow Earth for 3 years on his own, made special traps for a pack of Wart Dogs and killed one of them, defeated 4 Great Ape members of the Skar King (including Suko), defeated a Drownviper, knocked out the Great Ape Guard with one punch, contend with the Skar King in gladiatorial combat, survived his first encounter with Shimo, outsmarted the Red Stripes with traps he made himself, briefly knocked out an Evolved Godzilla out for a few seconds, fought the Skar King and Shimo alongside Godzilla, freed Shimo with the help of Suko, shattered the Skar King into pieces with his bare hands after being frozen by Shimo, and saved the world from a world-ending apocalypse. As a bonus, liberated the slaves of the Great Apes and became the new leader of the tribe. Solidifying his role as King Kong and goal in finding others of his kind.😊

If you think about it, ancient goji was able to be in the impact zone of the Permian impact and had no real or visible damage, modern goji was visibly damaged by Kongs punches, meaning his punches have more power than the meteor that killed the dinosaurs

@@Headless-Chicken 1. Yes all the comics are 100% canon except Awakening. That one hasn’t been canon since KSI and KOTM. M:LOM just made it even more obvious. It’s been confirmed to be soft canon by KDM. 2. Godzilla being 250 million years old (Which is what Awakening states) has been retconned. Confirmed by Greg Keyes the writer of the KOTM and GVK novelizations and Dominion. He stated that when he began too work with Legendary on the MV no one in Legendary actually believed Godzilla was 250,000,000+ years old. That was never their intention, even back in 2014 when Awakening came out. Fans simply saw a Gojira on the panel and just assumed that was Godzilla. Also the comic itself calls that Godzilla a Gojira. It’s long been established that if Legendary intends something to be referring to Godzilla it would say Godzilla not Gojira. It was confirmed by Keyes that Godzilla was born in the Pliocene, possibly in Madagascar. He also confirmed those lemurs in Dominion are NOT Titans, they were a mistake. The script called for the ACTUAL giant “Bear-lemurs”, Archaeoindris, to show up in the comic but due to a miscommunication, the Lemur-like Titans were drawn instead. They are supposed to represent the time period of Godzilla’s earliest memories. Lemurs came LONG before hominids. All that info puts Godzilla’s age around 5-2 million years ago. Greg Keyes basically gave us Godzilla’s age. So yes Godzilla is millions of years old, not Permian old but definitely older than humankind. The “retcon” was Legendary’s decision. Technically it’s not even a retcon because it was never canon to begin with. The “Zero buy in at Legendary” part confirms this. It was all an assumption by a scientist in universe that fans believed in that has since been corrected.

If that doesn't burn him, no way will Rodan's Dinky Volcanic Temperatures manage anything. Rodan burns at around 1,200 degrees Celsius. Kong, when he was a Mere Adolescent, sustained only Minor Burns from Similarly Hot Napalm. As an Adult, Kong can take the over 3000+ degree Celsius Plasma from MechaGodzilla's Charged-Up Front Kick without even noticing the Heat. Meanwhile, Godzilla's normal Blue Atomic Breath hits Temperatures over 500,000 degrees Celsius given how it's essentially a Nuclear Explosion Condensed Down into a Thin Energy Beam and Designed to Burn even Nuke-Resistant Titans. Plus the GVK novelization states the whole reason Kong was knocked out was because the Napalm sucked up all the oxygen in the immediate area which left nothing for Kong to take in.

One point that is overlooked by almost every analysis, is that no great ape has ever suffered a sustained energy attack, on screen in the MV. Kong's age has nothing to do with his durability, he bleeds & burns just as easily when young and as a Silverback. Toothaches, frostbite, dislocation, drowning & and a point blank atomic/gravity beam, frost-bite, blast to the face isn't age defying. Scar King was also very durable, and also did the atomic spam dance to avoid being barbecued. This list, is the list of titans he can dominate and a machine he cannot. Kong is the king of the beta titans.

Gxk mothra is stated to be above kotm mothra in every way, this mothra was easily able to knock over and is able to throw around evolved Godzilla even when she’s several hundred feet away (this doesn’t mean she’s above where I put her, but she’s EASILY 5th)

I think with our without weapons, Kong is stronger than pretty much anything other than Godzilla, Ghidorah, MG and Shimo, because those 4 are on their own kind of level. He is strong enough to push them around a bit and not instantly die but not strong enough to actually hurt them with just his bare hands.

2014? Maybe? 2021? Hard to say. The BEAST Glove is on his Right Arm, but he also tends to wield his Ax in his Right Arm as well. He might not be able to Wield them both together as well as you might expect. Though that BEAST Glove will definitely help in giving Kong Additional Punching Power to Stun Godzilla if he loses the Ax. But without a Charge, that thing is useless against the King. And the BEAST Glove, though Powerful, can't exactly Kill Godzilla since he's a Champ at taking Blunt Force Trauma.
