This was a tweet from 2018. I don’t know why it took so long for him to cancel this series publicly but he did do it on Twitter

Rob Liefeld was the main reason I stopped buying comics. Not only because of his atrocious "artwork", but because everyone who should have spoken up about it did not do so, and just blindly signed it off for the next stage of the process. At least Liefeld got a job and a career in the comic book industry. He made it which others were rejected. On the other hand, one of the reasons why the comic book industry fell back in the 90s other than weak storylines and concept was the numerous printing of first issues particularly those from Marvel Comics. Many felt that those first issues say X-Men, Spiderman, X-Force, etc. will become as expensive as those from The Golden Age or even The Silver Age. But they didn't!
@_vixen_4504 Жыл бұрын
Well that is also Why they sold so much in the 90’s because people thought comics would become the big next thing. They just did not realise that something that is printed 2 million times is not going to be worth as much as something that was printed one thousand times.
