After watching DB all this time i figured it out. potara uses Goku as the power and Vegeta as dominant which is why its all about " combinations" and utilizing them with Vegeta like wise attacks and attitudes basically what if Vegeta had the power of Kakkarot. Gogeta on the other hand is Goku dominant while using Vegetas power what if Goku used Vegetas power? Gogeta is about flashy destructive attacks aka Star dust breaker, Big bang kamehameha, ultimate impact its all final moves with a spin of goku in them. Always found this fascinating, even as a kid. Vegeta is known for being a master tactician, so it seems the first line would be his. However, Goku is a Prodigy Martial Artist and Master Ki User, and would have figured this out as well. And as far as the last line, both Goku and Vegeta, when serious, would say something to the following effect. Though Serious Goku, is the dominate mind in this fusion. Compared to Vegito, whos Vegetas potent bark is backed by Vegetas and Gokus potent bite. Interesting compare and contrast between the two, and taken both look at The Prince and Third Rate Warrior from different views and lenses. But thanks to Super, the Fusions were retconed into both having the same personality. Thanks for cutting out potential, Super Writing Staff, thanks alot.

In the Buu saga when they fused into him they were multitudes stronger than buu as Vegito, so they could afford to be playful. But in super against Fusion Zamasu, you have to realize that it was a fusion of a being that could fight on par if not higher than both goku and vegeta put together. Along with a weaker but tactical immortal God of Creation in training. Multiplying immortality x (nearly) immeasurable power gives you an ultimate warrior. They didn't have the leeway to toy around as they did in the buu saga.

He was completely focused on the fight, only thinking about attacks and needed transformations when necessary. He seems like he draws from Goku in battle, who hardly speaks and only transforms once he thinks he's in trouble. However, the transformation that he goes into is based on Vegeta. Think about it. In battle in Broly, he goes from super saiyan to super saiyan god just because of a slight advantage towards Broly. This is reflected in Gogeta, when he goes from ssj to ssb due to broly landing three hits. However, Vegito is different. He's more like Vegeta in battle, what with the cockiness and the scathing insults. He also draws somewhat from goku's innocence, since he makes a lot of jokes and also is a little innocent (as shown in his face as soon as he saw Zamasu crying). By the way, what potential was there? We were introduced to the fusions only a few times, and we only got to know them out of two fights. It's not like they'll be fusing every day of the week. It's not practical to flesh them out as the two fusions aren't even used that much. I am also pretty sure that the character development for Goku and Vegeta has met it's limit, and I think that the franchise may be coming to a close, as a result. By the way, they are both born from the same two people, why should their personalities be different? I think you're just trying to find reasons to hate on super and fanboy on Z.

In fairness... Gogeta and Vegito are basically the same guy but Gogeta is slightly shorter, and with different technique lists. Vegito might have a bit more Vegeta in his personality than Gogeta, but they're both about the same, and take a situation as seriously as necessary. Against Zamasu and Janemba that means go immediately into kill mode. Against Super Buu that meant pissing him off to get absorbed. Against Broly that meant pacing himself through the forms until he was sure blue was necessary. Against Omega I think both Goku and Vegeta were just sick and tired of his shit, and wanted to be petty

Z is my favorite acting Gogeta, GT is my favorite *looking* Gogeta, and the animation during DBS Broly was obviously out of this world...just wish they had kept him a little less jokey like here in Z. He wasn't *too* bad but it's a small shame. (Also don't tell anyone but I like Kefla a lot. I love how she's brimming with so much power she can barely control it. Her final move is just her unleashing all her overflowing power.)

@@RacingSnails64 Vegito acted the way he did against Buu on purpose. But the fight was indeed dragged out a bit too far. Against Zamasu, it was honestly just bad luck that they de-fused so soon against him, not knowing how draining Super Saiyan Blue would've been to the Fusion time (Goku and Vegeta had both mastered regular Super Saiyan so they would've lasted the full hour or close to it against Buuhan). If Goku and Vegeta made Vegito in Fusion Reborn rather than Gogeta, the result likely would've been the same given they had a clear path to victory. With Broly in Dragon Ball Super, they had to deal with Broly's growing power. They also did the same thing in GT with Gogeta that they did with Vegito in Z by using Omega Shenron's own energy to lift the negative energy from Earth before taking him out. They just fell victim to Super Saiyan 4 draining the fusion time. Kefla's kind of fan service but still kind of broken due to her Super Saiyan forms being stronger than normal. In base, she took on God Goku and forced him to turn Blue while Vegito or Gogeta in base are stronger than Blue Goku and have been shown in the Manga and Broly movie respectively.
