I feel like they missed a chance to give each character different types of body language. An example is in Warframe where you can buy and choose different types of fighting styles. Itd be a lot cooler if we could spend money on different styles of combat rather than making our weapons glow and explode. Edit: When I say buy a new style I just mean buy a new animation style for your character. I don’t mean literally buying a superior, damage dealing, fuckyourshitup fighting style. Pay-to-win is the last thing this community needs.

Now I know these take a long time to make, but seeing that you might analyze Gladiator next I was wondering if you could mention some interesting/realistic ornaments that the characters have in future videos. I specifically mentioned Glad cuz imo he has some of the best ornaments in the game, and to my knowledge (albeit very little) historical gladiator helmets did indeed have decorative ornaments

I try to do it if the ornaments are somewhat relevant like with Centurion, but usually I don't when they don't really mean anything like Conqueror's or BP's. That being said, I'm sure there are some things to talk about when it comes to Glad's Ornaments. And if you have any specific facts you'd like to share about Glad's ornaments, I'd love to hear it as I always like to add info that was brought to me directly from the community.

I watched the video when it was released, but i am commenting now after i came across some detail about the bulwark stance. The things i found were: 1) "the flip" make sense if we consider the unblockables (bashes charges, ect.) and stagger effects of the opponents becuase he lower himself to embrace and to take advantage of the opponent's unbalance. 2) black prior can smoothly flow in bulwark after a block, an attack (making an almost infinite chain) and after receiving a deflect. 3) like you said "he need to block on reaction" and the fact that you can "flip" a deflect on sound, made me wondering if he have an exceptional reaction time; by so that would explain, what in my opinion is, his overconfidence. Than if we take in consideration how he fight (except some the game mechanics) and what i think is Vortiger's personality (someone overconfident in is reaction time) we could say that he is nearly realistic. On a guard break BP move the right foot to the right and move the left foot foward, to do respectively the right and back throw (is extremely hard to see)

the best example of perfect realism with black priors bulwark parry is when a shinobi throws a ranged heavy and gets magnetized to the shield through the sheer will of god himself and flipped.

the difference in the right throw and the back throw is the foot movement of the bp to position himself when throwing. to the right, he moves his right leg first to the right then follows with his left. To the back, he moves his right foot to the left then turns when throwing

I have a hypothetical question for you Dani. If Ubisoft were to add another faction, what would you want it to be. My personal choices would be either the Egyptians/Middle Easterners, Aztecs, or the Native Americans. The reason I would love to see an Egyptian/Middle Eastern faction is because I personally feel that they would have plenty of potential when it comes to weapons and fighting style. Now I personally don't know a lot about Middle Eastern or Egyptian weapons, armor, and fighting styles, I do know they at least have a fair amount of weapon choices Ubisoft could go with. Aztecs would be nice for the purpose of how it would be different. We don't have a faction that would be really similar to the Aztecs, thus making them rather unique. My only issue is the armor. I'm fairly certain there wouldn't be much armor choices for Ubisoft to make with this faction and would have to "invent" a good amount of it. Lastly, the Native Americans. Out of the ones I've listed, this is probably the last one I would want to see. While I do think it would be pretty different from what we have seen already, I don't believe there would be a lot of weapons and armors to choose from. Though Ubisoft could have some "fairly reliable" sources from Native Americans who live today, based on how well informed they are of their culture.

I've never understood why you can't escape an attack just because it flashed blue. Im thinking it has something to do with the type of attack but I don't know attack forms so I have no clue. So after watching the Conq pt 3 vid it seems Conq is the better shieldsman and BP the better swordsman...which is how it is in game. BP does more damage but Conq has better defense with his roughly 17,000 option selects. Neat

Actually BP’s right guard is pretty realistic when you are looking at it from a historical stance as it was an actual broadsword stance that was to protect your legs. It’s one of the only things the Outlaw king got right during that first duel. Why BP uses his shield to block in stead of his sword in right guard though baffles me as you are meant to block attacks in that guard using the sword.

Peacekeeper: her armor video could be interesting as you don't hear much talked about when it comes to medieval assassins but her weapons and moveset video would probably be boring. Highlander: His moveset video would be pretty funny since he overswings all attacks and his mixups are based around kicking and throwing his opponent with his unarmored limbs. He barely has armor and seeing historical video about claymores could be interesting. Shaman: Lol okay that one would just be funny all around since everything about her doesn't make sense would be interesting to see if you could even find anything historically accurate about her. Gladiator: Lets be honest anything over dramatic about this character works since they were entertainers probably terrible warriors though. This is definitely the best next character to make a video about.
