The most impressive part of this performance is that the Bouncer was such a professional. He let Eugene sit on his shoulder, held his belt in the back while he leaned over, and all the while just kept his cool! That’s legendary shit right there folks.

I watched them on the beach in Japan in 2010. We jumped so hard and I ripped my shoes without even realising it. It was one of my best concert experience and I've been to loads of them.

This reminds me of seeing them at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="570">9:30</a> Club in DC when I was in the military. That place would be PACKED full, and if you dared to venture up to the front, you were basically guaranteed a spit of wine in the face from Eugene. A year ago or so, my son went a great distance to see these guys in concert, and came back not so much raving as marveling at how interesting the music and the presentation were. We found this clip, and others, here on YT, and I researched the band online: How stunned I was to find out that one of the band-members was Boris Pelekh, who had been in one of my classes at the Hogwarts of Music in Boston, back in the late '80's/early '90's. Al Dimeola, Bruce Hornsby, Branford Marsalis, Natalie Maines, John Mayer: Eat your hearts out!
