After watching this back, I realised at 01:15 I made a mistake when talking about how the buttons work. The function of both buttons changes depending on what menu you're in. That's why the menus are so awkward to use.

Hi Matt, this is Etenwolf, we’ve been looking forward to hearing from you and were wondering when you might have time to review our product.

Hi, sorry for the delay. Been busy on vehicles that have taken much longer than expected. Once the current vehicle is finished, your review is next.

Models of e-NV200 with the fancier larger-screen navigation unit have a more sophisticated and easier to set charging and climate control timers, and do not have the timer in the small instrument panel screen at all. They need completely different instructions to the ones in this video. [Based on a 40 kWh Evalia, but the panel van equivalent uses the same controls.] In the simple version, the OFF time setting can be just as useful as the ON time. Set the time you'd like the van to complete its charging to 100%, and it will start at an early-enough time, based on the current available from the charge point it's connected to, how much charge is already in the battery, and whether the climate control timer is on as well. If you don't have cheap overnight electricity, this is the right option: set the charged-by time to be when you want to leave in the morning. If you do have cheap rate electricity, you might as well set the OFF time to half an hour after the cheap rate ends, because the balancing part of the charge uses very little power. The preconditioning timer should be set to your departure time! It works out for itself when to start heating or aircon so as to reach the preset temperature just ready for you. Just like using the OFF time in the charge timer.

Yes, I forgot to add that the Tekna model with the touchscreen head unit from the Leaf has a better scheduler as its done on the touchscreen rather in the dash.

I couldn't set an off time on this 2022 ENV200. I was sure you could on older models so tried multiple times and it wasn't possible. The On/Off option was only turning the timer on/off, not setting an start and end time.

@@GoGreenAutos My mistake (reading the "Getting the most from your e-NV200" booklet page 8); Nissan say the charging timer's set time is the time for charging completed, not selectable between an On and an Off time. "Charging will start automatically at the calculated time to achieve that charging is completed at the set end time." -- as written in Nissanglish. (Nissan sent me PDF versions of the owner's manual from 2016 and 2018, and the shorter booklet which looks like for 2018 onwards, when I asked nicely. It did take several goes as they sent diesel NV200 documents first. All are written in the strange nearly-English language of every car makers' instructions, much harder to find what you need and understand it than they could be.)

Hi mate, thanks for your videos, I can honestly say I got an ENV200 to replace my custom and it’s a great little van, I love it. Just to pick up on a point in your video, you said it’s better to charge to 100% on my 40KW model because it balances the cells, does it only balance the cells once it’s at 100%? Sorry if i’v misunderstood. Thanks for all the videos. Tom.

Yes. Charge to 100% on AC. Just try to not leave it sat at 100% charged if you're not using the van the next day. That's all you really need to do to look after the battery.

I love the pre heat system but did an experiment & set it for a certain temperature but it just follows its own thing & heats the van. Does it adjust to the temperature outside?as obviously in the summer would it do it cooler or does it only worl to heat up the van? Only had van since September
