The HIA doesn’t test to see if he wasn’t concussed, it tests cognitive ability - basically does he need to go to hospital etc. He was concussed and will have to miss games

Once the NSW player was sent off they were playing one man down for the rest of the game. Even though NSW showed a lot of heart and played well, they lost the game when their player was sent off. Queensland made a lot of unforced errors and NSW made very few. Queensland will have to tighten up their game to win game two in Melbourne. But there's only one thing to say and that's GO QUEENSLAND!!!

dude that wasnt intental that was unfair call from the ref to send the player off for the rest of the match and if u watched the replay close up u will see that he was going for the lower body as by the rules the qld player moved to the right to try to avoid the tackle unfortunately he moved into the wrong spot and got him has a high and illegal spear tackle on the upper body causing to loose consciousness for 30 seconds. and if you watch end of game play full time commentary you will see that chat about that and they did say the ref took it a bit far 7 mins into the game, so before you start bitching about watch it and listen end of game commentary from experienced nrl players who have played and coached for years in state of origin listen to there opinion before assume shit because that some bad shit you just said and new south wales supporters arent going to like this shit what u just said. but i dont expect you to understand. 😡😡😡😡😡

@@gohammtv yes that is true this why there replays to determine the causes in any game of footy whether its australian footy or nfl footy same things of actions applies yes the ref has the final say @ the time of the incidents but officials in any sport can over turn that decision in this case it wasnt but the qld player whether is your favourite or not he moved in the wrong position and the collision happened a illegal high tackle. imagine how the nsw player felt @ the time on his first origin debut 7 mins in to the game and your bad mouthing for something had no control over australian footy is a high and are fast paced games u got to understand that and u shouldnt be bad mouthing players or sports when didnt watch the full match and only watching highlights of the match. put your self in his position and c how u fill if happen to u on your debut of the biggest series of the season, state of origin isnt easy task to get selected to play same with getting picked for the national australian team.

So if a rugby player has failed a H.I.A (Head Injury Assessment) the NRL (National Rugby League) introduced a rule last year or a couple years ago that the player has to sit out for 11 days to recover from that concussion but the NRL Bunker who reviews the situation can tell the referee on ground after they review the situation to either Send him off which means he’s out of the game entirely and that team has to play with 12 people for the rest of that game however it was a sin bin then the player would be off the field for 10 minutes and once those 10 minutes are up he’d be allowed on field and after the game he’d be handed his punishment by the NRL Judiciary
