Toriyama actually intended for Gohan to take Gokus place and be the new protector that's what he was building him to up to beating Cell for all of DBZ but all the fans were pissed and didn't like it... Gohan at best is around super buu's power level, and with training with picolo in dbz super we can say maybe he got 20x stronger no lets say he got 200x stronger with that training. so if he was 20x stronger then super buu in dbz and then he trained with picolo and a little with goku and got 200x more powerful. So that makes gohan 4000 super buu's now let's talk about Goku who went ssj3 vs bearus. Beerus was never touched by goku and then one shot goku with his fingernail. at that time goku was at most stronger then buu but weaker then super buu. Goku then does the ritual and becomes a god this power allows him to fight with beerus when before he was one shotted as if he was an ant but even with his god form he was no match for beerus as beerus was just having a good time. What this tells us is that the god power goku had was dramatically larger in power compared to goku ssj3. It is stated in the anime that Goku ABSORBED THAT POWER as his own and now that power became HIS BASE FORM ABILITIES. Now goku with already having god abilities, trains with beerus and whis who is an angel and gains the ability to turn into a super sayajin god and the stack super sayajin on top of that. now lets put everything together. Gohan doesn't use super sayajin, he uses mystic form which is like having ssj, ssj2 and ssj3 in his arsenal without the transformations or it's negative affects. Gohan at best is 4000x stronger then super buu. Goku at base after absorbing the god form I am going to take a logical guess. I'd say he is maybe 100 super buus Goku can go ssj which is 50x ssj2 = 100x ssj3 = 400x idk what ssj god multiplier is but is mostlikely very large but what ever ssj god is stacking ssj ontop of it gives it a 50x multiplier and then goku and times that by 20x so lets say goku is 100 super buus 100 x 50 = 5,000 = ssj1 100 x 100 = 10,000 = ssj2 100 x 400 = 40,000 = ssj3 100 x a larger number then ssj3... taking a logical guess (1600x) 100 x 1600 = 160,000 = ssj god 160,000 x 50 = 8,000,000 = ssj god blue 8,000,000 x 20 = 160,000,000 = SSJ Blue KIOKEN TIMES 20 Gohan who is at best 4000 super buus This is high balling Gohan we are saying that Gohan at base is 4000 times super buu from dragonball z Gohan's Mystic forms contains all transformations known to him so all he gots to do is power up. 4000 x 50 = 200,000 = SSJ1 but mystic 4000 x 100 = 400,000 = SSJ2 but mystic 4000 x 400 = 1,600,000 = SSJ3 but mystic 4000 x 1200 = 4,800,000 = Gohan in rage mode mystic form = my own headcannon So at best Gohan = 4,800,000 super buus Goku = 160,000,000 super buus and since Vegeta is near Goku in power with his ssj blue evolution ima take a logical guess and say Vegeta = 150,000,000 super buus Goku + Vegeta = 310,000,000 super buus Goku x Vegeta = 2.4e+16 which equals 24,000,000,000,000,000 Meaning if goku and vegeta fused and they just added each other's power they still stronger then Gohan and if they multiplied each other's power then Gohan is equal to a ant and they are a multiverse. It makes no sense that Gohan can even fight Goku toe to toe in a serious match but yall telling me that Gohan can go toe to toe with but Goku and Vegeta? please return your intelligent badge back to the garbage can you received them from.

If he gained God Ki, specifically SSG, it would combine, and Divine Potential Unleashed would be born. @@amordeweso but gohan deserves to be too op in my opinion. He is possibly the most slept on character by the producers. The fact that gohan was so easily able to eclipse ssj3 goku just by his hidden power being unlocked further shows that if gohan were as training savy as goku, he would be on an entirely different level than goku and vegeta with god ki. And if gohan obtained god ki, he would most definitely be stronger than broly, jiren, and possibly beerus.

5:52 Still gives me chills after all these years. Gohan is a much more worthy person to achieve Ultra Instinct over Goku. It fits his character far more and would be the perfect compliment to his Mystic form.

Ultra instinct is the peak of martial arts which is why Master Roshi had a watered down version in the manga because of all his years of experience and Gohan a kid who doesn’t even like fighting explain how it fits his character more.
