@@Reaper-bl1ye I like all the music from Dragon Ball tbh. The Bruce Falconer sound track is good, the Kai one is fun, the og Japanese is great as well. I even like the ocean dub sound track. But if I had to compare the two, Kai matches the tone of the original anime than Z. The Z soundtrack was made because Cartoon Network thought American kids needed more “upbeat” music to be entertained. However in doing so they change the original context of the scenes. Like Gohan transforming to Super Saiyan 2 is supposed to be a quiet scene then the music sweeps up when Gohan transforms, but Gohan in Z is talking and the music is blaring. Falconer is great but it doesn’t fit with dbz as well imo.

I just love that this man actually had the ideal perspective of this arc too. He really went into the Cell games talking big shit about how strong Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks were, but didn't mention Gohan's power at all. Just completely disregarded him entirely. Only for Gohan to be the strongest by an absolute mile. Such a great journey. I can't wait for the Buu arc. Some really weird and fun stuff to come.

I remember in the English dub, instead of Vegeta saying "I'm done fighting", he says "I am no warrior, nor shall I fight again" which was way more shocking. He got pretty depressed at this point in time but it did help him become a family man.

In the anime while Gohan and Cell’s beams were clashing, literally everyone who was conscious (besides Vegeta who was too hurt) went behind Cell and attacked him. Even though they knew at most it annoyed Cell. It was sick because they chose to either live or die together.

In order to use Instant Transmission Goku needs to lock onto someone's energy. So he can't just go to a random spot in space he needs to actually go to someone.

In the manga, Gohan beat the cell jr.s so fucking hard you could see their fucking guts and insides as their remains. It is a tradition that SS2 Gohan always hits in the middle of a dude and they evaporate. Please watch the Bojack Unbound movie, its a 40 minutes animation that basically tells a fight Gohan had after cell but before buu. It also had teenage gohan rocking Goku's gi as a tribute and it looks so fucking sick

Awesome video, and great idea to spit it into two parts released back-to-back. The "Warrior of Hope" DLC follows Trunks's future timeline, both before and after he travels to the past. Even though it's DLC 3, I highly suggest doing it *before* DLC 1 and 2. Not only is DLC 3 unrelated to them, but you'll also unlock some sick new moves for Trunks that will come back to the main timeline with you.

I love this series. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is about 70% of the actual story, it tells the story well but misses out on alot of the minor details and expressions in the anime as well as the iconic Faulkner soundtrack. But it does the story well enough to give new fans a perspective. I've always wanted to see someone freshly react to DBZ content. Waiting for them to watch every single episode would've gotten tiresome for both myself and them I'm sure, plus with copyright, they wouldn't exactly be able to stream full episodes. But seeing reactions like this to key points in the anime...It's awesome. Thank you so much for this, and thank you for not watching DBZ when you were younger lol just so we OG fans can see basically ourselves through our own eyes.

To answer your question about the cameras, it was destroyed when gohan transformed in the anime. Also you should know that in the anime after vegeta failed to hurt cell, there was no fight between Gohan and Cell again. It immediately goes from vegeta getting hit to Gohan protecting him and losing his arm. Vegeta even apologized to Gohan

Watch the Dragon Ball Z:Battle of gods movie. Its the next event in the timeline after Buu. Besides Dragon Ball Super's first arc is just an extended retold of that movie. It's the first canon movie and actually would be a fitting place to start watching the OG content instead of TFS and games (Which I loved you did, amazing perspective)
