Yeah very basic. You should always just go around doing the easiest one word answers first and read the rest then com back . Also for the answers in which you write alot . Start with the type you are most comfortable with and end with the one you tend to think alot in

I do three steps. First: Go through and do every problem I feel I can do quickly and will most likely get correct. Second: Go back and do all the problems I think are doable but will take some time. Three: attempt the ones I'm not familiar with to the best of my ability.

it depends still, i have this one class last term where the midterms were online and you couldn’t go back to a previous question. & since i had no idea what to expect on the test (since there were no quizzes), i had to use the vids technique so i wouldn’t run out of time. but if it wasn’t like that, i usually skim through all the questions before answering, mark the ones i know i’ll have difficulty in and answer those last. this also helps so you wouldn’t accidentally miss an essay question in the last/back page, did that once in 5th grade & never again

I'd suggest that when you're in exam hall/classroom , just sit on your seat and breathe. Don't even think about the subject ( only if you've prepared well for it which you should cause it's healthy) and when you get your paper, just go through it and partly solve them mentally so that you're assured of the answer. Next, when the writing time starts, just start writing down everything you know as fast as possible and you'd have enough time for revision. i do this and i get satisfying marks..

Rather then this I highly recommend scanning through the test, answering all the no brainer questions. Then do the same will all the easy and medium ones, then go back to the hard ones. This will ensure you don’t miss the questions you could solve but don’t due to lack of time, and only leaves the ones that you may or may not be able to solve left. Another bonus to this strategy is as your answering the easy ones, you can think over the hard ones a little more and potentially figure out the component you were missing.

I like to stop at different points of time during the test and calculate how many questions I have and how much time I have left. Then I divide it and get how long I have to complete each question. This helps me because I always get distracted and my mind wanders but to know how much time I have helps me stay focused on the question and that time. I’m not great at explaining things so hopefully you got the picture

you didn't ask me but i wanted to share my technique. My mom teaches me math , and she always makes me write all the formulas and rules of exponents in 1-2 pages with proper heading. Then i used those sheets to skim through before i go for my exam. secondly, i always do examples from the book then proceed to the exercise. This makes math much easier. along with doing those questions , I mark all those questions which i'm not able to solve and those questions comes in handy before exam . and also math is supposed to be done everyday religiously, then only you'd be able to manifest perfect marks in math... hope you found it informative and all the best ;)

This is what I actually do. I am pretty slow at everything. Especially, when things are not structured. So I create my own structures by setting checkpoints. I also highlight important words in questions and cross off answers that don’t sound right. When in doubt I usually write some words next to the answer options just to let myself know why I think this may be the answer to the question.

I do this by default. A lot of the time, I even divide the time I have by the number of questions-so like, if I have 90 minutes for 40 questions, I’ll spend about 2 minutes per question, with 10 minutes to spare. I imagine dividing time down to each individual question would be stressful, not helpful, for most people, though.

I did so much hard work not thinking I was even working hard just because I'd taken time to make it easier for myself. a different teacher recommended reading the test backwards she was a physics teacher and explained that the hardest questions are at the end of the paper so that you can warm up for them. But if you read the hard questions first then go back to the beginning you're already answering the questions sub consciously you get the 1,2 and 3 marker's out of the way but at least when you flip to the 25 mark questions you don't think "omg the short questions were hard enough how am I supposed to do a whole essay" you just start writing 😂
