I was at the ceremony too, my sister was graduating! It really was insane; just to give people an idea, the main audience (where the creator of the video sat) was in the main part of the yard near the stage. But outside of the main yard was at least one other audience (mightve been more on other sides, but im not sure) that was probably double the size of the main one! It was such a great few hours and the honorary degrees were so interesting, I'd definitely recommend looking them up if there's a recording online.

Just go to a smaller school or community college and transfer. Studies show that where you go to school doesn’t matter that much when looking at future earnings. Especially once it’s been a few years since you’ve graduated.

Life isn’t dictated by what college you go to. I felt the exact same way after visiting the Harvard campus after my freshman year. I felt like I messed everything up by being a B student, but in reality it doesn’t matter much. A very large portion of Harvard and Ivy League students are wealthy legacy kids with access to the best tutors, schools, project funding, parental support etc. the rest of the admissions is so competitive that you’ll likely burn out by the time you graduate high school. Enjoy your time as a kid and consider other options. Starting in community college is a great way to enjoy Highschool and still transfer to a prestigious school (plus you’ll save a lot of money!). I know quite a few people who started in cc and transferred to uc Berkeley. Unless you want to go into big law or another field that requires that prestige and connections, it isn’t worth the stress, money, and possibly wasting what can be some really great years for personal and academic growth.
