I'm pretty much more amateur than you, but a thing I do while karting is talk out loud to remind myself some corrections. Maybe you can try that so you remember to break early into that hairpin 😅

Good job young man. It just takes laps... lots of laps to become smooth and proficient (and comfortable.. ie second nature to the speed and power increase). I'm a multi-time kart champion in karts like this, have been away from karts for years now, but taking it up again. I can jump right into my single speed kart and drive precise, but then I get in my shifter, and ... well it's going to take more laps ;) Where is this track in your vid?

Thank you so much! It definitely takes a lot of practice to drive fast and I will definitely work hard towards that! This track is in Shanghai, China. There are 3 (soon to be 4) professional kart tracks for two-stroke and shifter karts and many more really cool rental kart tracks.

Not slow at all.... a bit messy, but not slow! For the first time in a real race kart, that isn't bad, particularly he didn't have an Off. Driving a kart like that is about "precision"... hitting your marks as perfectly as possible, lap after lap, and that only comes with doing laps.
