Reving it to the valve springs float. Great, on a brand new motor🤨

@@torbenalstrup3902 about two hours total on the motor. We used to do this for years and years on motors, especially the smaller ones ripping them up to 5000 RPMs. Many of the motors we ran up to 50,000 miles driving in stop and go traffic, long trips from Southern California to Chicago and back. 103° weather driving Simi Valley, California to Las Vegas never had a problem with the rings overheating. But still learning after 42 years of building motors for customers, my friends and my personal vehicles. 😎

@@randallvaughn9318 Amazing little engine with a 78.8mm SCAT crank and 88 thick wall pistons, SCAT c25 cam, Super Street Heads w/o 1.25 rockers for full hit test, 1-1/2 exhaust system & (yep for those haters) an SVDA advancing distributor. After break-in decided to see if the internal regulator through the lift and duration of the cam worked with the ported & polished super street heads and dual 40mm carburetors. Set up as a “Touring Motor w/ good gas mileage” with sm cam, single HD springs, solid 1:1 rockers, 8 to 1 cr, normal pump gas and 28 venturies. 😜
