I just finished the video and carved along with you. I added my own little flavors but followed the tutorial until the end. Thank you for the great video and for all your time and efforts in making tutorials. Much appreciated. I will tag you on Instagram in a few days with my finished product. Thanks again Jeff!!!!!!!

Love your work! I feel like the personality of your carvings are the best on KZbin even compared to the great Doug Linker. Please keep it up!!!

@@QSOutdoors I think I will subscribe to your channel. Although I have never created anything using wood I found your video enjoyable and would like to see more of them. Just curious if you create animal figures as well such as wolves, horses, eagles.

I have an older video where I carved odin's raven on a rock but I haven't done any other animals. I will, at some point, try to carve worlves and bears but I don't know when. I having fun refining my little guys for now.

What knife brand are u using. Seems premium. Kindly share with us where to get it from? Thanks a bunch for all you do.

Hello! My knives are from a russian smith named Sergei Belov. You can find him on etsy with this name or gloss of steel. They are amazing.

Enjoying the video can’t watch it all at once as I’m busy but will watch it all in time. I was wondering if possible could u do a couple of vikings using 1”x1”x3 or 4”? I only ask as I don’t have a workshop or anyway to mill wood to size so have to rely on what I can get off Amazon. which is mostly 1”x1”x 4”-6”or 10” if I had one to use as a guide it would help with future projects although I have the carving little guys book I find following ur videos easier as I can’t read very well and lose my place very quickly. Again thank u great video.

I will see what I can do. I got my wood all cut to these specific measure when I got them and I had around 520 pieces that I'm burning through. I also can't mill my own wood! Haha

Great video! Very helpful. I am having a hard time sourcing good, "soft" basswood where I live (Spain). Any European recommendations for a good source of easy carving basswood anyone? TIA!
@QSOutdoors Жыл бұрын
The only "basswood" I know that one can order from pretty much everywhere is from Beavercraft. I bought two different sets from there and the wood was really good! I even made a video out of it.

Hi can I know where you buy basswood of 1/4 diameter? Thanks for your video I'm not the skill to do them but you are feeding the children imagination ogmf my inside child

Hi carlo, many asked me and sadly, I bought it from a friend of a friend here in Sweden and he doesn't sell outside of his little workshop. He has cut all my pieces the same dimension. One day, I'm sure you'll be able to easy carve everything you see here.
