Simplicity equals Sanity! I too, am a teacher with a son and 2 daughters close in age. Streamlining EVERYTHING is key. From meals, laundry, getting ready, cleaning, work etc.

I applaud you for being a working mom of 3 little ones. I didn't start teaching until I was 33 when my youngest was 8 yrs old I am now 60 and this is my last full year of Teaching. I started 3 weeks ago on line only, but we have to go to an empty school. I love your idea of simplicity. It's hard when you are older and go to work and come home Thank You for your channel even I am learning new tricks this is even great for us empty nesters

Your teriyaki meatball meal prep is a new favorite for my husband 😂 I’d love to see some a day in the life type of video as a working mom specifically as a teacher. I just ordered the hair dryer because I'm so tired of having frizzy hair. I hope the purchase helps you in some way. That salad looks amazing. With a serving of rice, sour cream, fiesta cheese and salsa, you have Burrito Bowls. That's one of our favorite meals. Hope your school year is happy and productive. Blessings! 💕

Abby, I applaud you for all of your enthusiasm and efforts. I have followed from the beginning of your channel and think you are AMAZING and UNIQUE (not too much editing which is great). I have not commented (don't think ..) QUICHE was my go to many times for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (not in one day of course), so yummy, easy, versatile and my kids loved it with a salad or soup. Thanks for turning on to ALDI !!

Im a teacher assistent/ pupil assistent here in sweden and we get free lunches if we eat together with the kids. We have a thing here called fritids. Its for kids with parents who starts working really early to very late. They gets breakfast in our schools around 7.30 schools starts at 8.15 and ends around 13-14 in 0-3 grade.6-9 year olds. And a extra meal at 14.30. Its often a sandwish fruit and milk or water. The fritids is open for 6-8.15 aand then 13.00-18.00. Do you have that in the US? Love Lisa♥️

That's very nice that some teachers/staff eat with the kids! I'm from Florida, and we have breakfast as well. A few schools where I'm from offer the later meal (supper) for children whose parents work late/need it.

I am also headed back to full time in the office of the University I work at on Monday. thank you for wearing a mask! I do the meal prepping on Sunday also, the first two weeks I am doing lunchables because they were $1 each and a crockpot meal to have leftovers on Monday. I am the caregiver to dad, so I need to make sure he has supper to eat before I get off and I have been doing a breakfast for dinner at least once a week.

Hi! Your videos have been helping me get ready to student teach this fall. There are likely to be a lot of changes and having to be flexible, but getting my toddler and dog and I in simple routines so we are out the door on time, so we have good food (and not blow the budget), etc I've realized has already put me at ease to face the rest. Thanks for your help with that!

I loved this video! Being intentional about meal planning has been something that’s really helped my mind the last few weeks. I have a notepad on our fridge with our meals for the week and we cross them off as we make them! I’ve always wanted to try one of the hair dryer brush things but it’s been so hot I haven’t wanted to use anyyyy heat on my hair. Wishing you well as you and your hubby go back to school!

I'm going back to school next week too. But we are starting virtually with students in a few weeks. I am so sad to not have students until at least the second nine weeks. I have been meal planning and keto baking to stock the freezer. I have also been out since early March. I am looking forward to being back on a normal schedule. Any good low carb crockpot or instant pot recipes would be great!

Meal/grocery planning tip: TRY ANYLIST!!! It’s accessible as a desktop app, web app, and phone app. My fiancé and I share a grocery list on there that also syncs with Alexa, so as we remember things and run out of things we put it on the list. I never forget anything anymore!!! You can import recipes directly from websites using their extensions on most browsers and even your phone. It syncs all the steps and ingredients. Meal planning-wise you can add recipes to certain days and then add ingredients from recipes directly to your groceries (and scale recipes up and down). We have the family plan, which is $15 a year TOTAL (so worth it) but you honestly could just not pay and get a lot out of the basic version.
