At 9:35 you began catching the LMBs at the other MotherLoad fallen tree after losing three, then you caught 3 on the Banditobug and the last one was at 19:45 in hand which makes 12, that was a good day on any river. Always enjoy your enthusiasm, a flyfisherman from Dayton, Oh.

In New England and the Adirondacks laydowns are always good.summertime you need to find the old growth trees over deep water.100' long trees, the more intact branches the better.they grab and grow algae baitfish feed and more cover.isolated trees out of but adjscent to current.always good.well done jon.

Cool video. I believe that bridge is in Sudbury, MA, where Route 27 crosses the Sudbury River. I grew up there from 1958 - 1980. It was always known for high mercury. That place where you parked is very close to an ancient, arched stone bridge where about 7 settlers were ambushed and killed by some native Americans in the 1700s. On the right side of the river is the town of Wayland MA, the left is Sudbury. They used to be the same town but were divided into 2 towns when the citizens could agree on which side of the river to put the town hall. BTW, Mecca has 2 "C"s.

Please keep going over lures and how you fished them, this has been a lot of good info. Talking about a tree of life that rascal was loaded with fish. Love the river fishing. Jon many years ago one of the crazy way to catch river bass was to take a baby bottle nipple and attach to a 10 ft cane pole and about 4 ft of 60 lb line. then just dangle this nipple on top of the water around logs in log jams, any place that was impossible to cast into. We did this a couple of times but one day from a canoe on river we caught so many bass we lost count after about 40. Caught from 1 lb up to 5 lbs, and what a rush too. You should give it a try sometime.
