that may be a grass pickerel. chain pickerel have tighter patterns. grass pickerel will be a little more spread apart. doesnt matter though... theyre both the same thing haha

Welcome to the Northeast.....great creek fishing and catching all those species! We may not have as many Giant fish as Texas or Florida but we do have a lot of fun species to catch! Pickerel fight really hard and so do the creek and river Largemouth! Creek Chubs and Fallfish are also a lot of fun to catch!

Perch are the best! Go to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan sometime I used to live there and got a 17 inch one on a nightcrawler.

Ipswich river in Middleton / north reading has massive numbers and size pickerel. Grass pickerel and chain pickerel. Waters very low this time of year

Yeah Redfin Perch are tuff guys they can pretty much live in any conditions we have big ones down the local lakes in Melbourne and all over Australia but my pb in the local lakes which is polluted is about 48 cm
