Jen has now found out that Zac’s family is most definitely not onboard. They refer to her as ‘Zac’s wife’ on social media and of course it’s HULU that has ‘ruined’ their family. I've never watched the show so I don't know anything other than this interview but it actually broke my heart listening to hear her attempt to defend her husband & her relationship for far too long 😢 I understand because I've been there. You love them, you remember the great times, see the best in them & don't want a failed relationship. But no woman wants to constantly have to defend their man's actions. She's embarrassed. She's constantly told she deserves better and she's probably afraid to bring him around friends & family because of his unpredictable emotions or need to cover everything up to make things appear "okay". I won't pretend to know if she's actually happy or not but I've been there & can relate to feeling like you need to walk on egg shells to blanket their feelings.

@BaqotaАй бұрын
@@psychedoutslick1204 I’m only armchair expert diagnosing, but I think if she had borderline, she wouldn’t be doing the behaviors she does where she ghosts people and disappears. I think the main character trait of BPD is a fear of being abandoned, whether it’s real or perceived. They get desperate if they think someone is pulling away. If she had BPD, I don’t think she’d be able to tolerate not going to to all those activities she chose to miss, and I don’t think she would be capable of voluntarily opting out of things like the Vegas trip. Whitney does anything and everything for sponsorships. She said it multiple times throughout the show. Clearly that is all she cares about

The way Whitney is portrayed in the show really aligns with borderline personality disorder. I feel like no one is talking about the possibility of psychiatric illness, and that’s really unfortunate. It’s not to say that BPD (or any dx) excuses a person’s actions, but it is still a very important part of the picture, and it should definitely be taken into account when evaluating a friendship (although it doesn’t seem like any of these women are truly friends). Disclaimer: I’m trained in this area, but no one can dx someone through a TV show; a BPD dx would need a psychiatric evaluation (at bare minimum).

This show should have just been Titled “Secret lives of UTAH Wives” lol

why didn’t Layla say her story?
@cassninetyfour1238Ай бұрын
Because Nick glossed over her and went on about being a catholic instead.

Apparently she wasn't important. She kept getting cut off. Every time she said something everyone would cut her off.

The cast unpacked so much, Season 2 needs to happen and either there's going to be some girls who play 'neutral' (Jen) or she's going to bring a 'new mom' along.

To me, “sin” is being a bad person. It’s being selfish and evil. Having drinks, sex or fun isn’t sinning. It’s sad how far organized religion has gotten from the original point. It’s always been a way to control people.

Christianity is not based on what you considered a sin. It is obvious that you not under Christianity.

No, sin is what is deemed wrong action in your religion. Each religion has different definition. What you consider wrong vs what that religion consider sin is different

Keywords: To me. I don’t believe the same things you do. Others would disagree with what I believe. So that’s not valid.
@tonibrooks9719Ай бұрын
Sin is not just being a bad person. No one goes their entire life without sinning. We are all born sinners. If you deliberately sin then perhaps that sin is bad, depending on what the sin is, but your definition means that everyone born is a bad person.
