I agree that the automatic scheduling is horrible. And my routes are much simpler (I am currently doing 0500 to 1215 and 1400 to 2130 everywhere). That gives me two 8-hour time windows. Then I adjust the timing of route to get 1 (set time to actual length) or 2 (set time 1/2 total route time, etc) or 3 busses per window. (Which would be 2, 4, or 6 total busses). The good news is, once set up, you can copy yesterday's schedule and paste it to today and only deal with new routes you have added). This means if you have at least 2x drivers to busses that each bus can do 2 shifts per route and each driver does 1 hour shift per day. But the auto scheduler can not figure out either the drivers or the buses in that very simple scenario.

I'm using the Cowes MiniLinks group as a general MiniLinks group atm as SVC and SVR only have one set of MiniLinks routes each for the moment.
