Are the cars drafting each other and creating a vacuum pulling each other along? The couplers are a bit "stretched."

I have railroads online but I am having trouble laying tracks. When I try to connect it to another track, I can never get it to connect well because it sort of goes up and then slopes down. I also cannot get any control of the grade.

When laying track, press 5 on the numpad to switch to "precise" mode. It lets you have total control of curves and grades. Also, the slope you speak of when attaching track normally goes away when the connection is actually made. It's a weird thing for sure. The new track laying is alittle weird in the way it makes its own grades however it chooses. Has it's good and bad points, I'm still getting used to it myself. I'm betting they will tweak that in the future. Good luck!
