Going Grey Series: Part 1 Makeup Tutorial - Foundation & Blush

I've been asked over and over, "What kind of makeup do you use? When are you going to make a tutorial?" Well, I listened and your wish is my command. This is part 1 of 4 videos. I decided to break them up so one vid wouldn't be super long and if someone wanted to see just the eye makeup portion, or lips, they could do that! Thank you, +Vicky Stewart! It was one of the best things I ever did. But make sure you're really ready. I tried it about 9 years ago and ended up going back to the hair dye. I just wasn't ready. Last year, I KNEW this was what I wanted and didn't waver. The good news is, if you don't like it, you can always go back to the dye. If you take the leap, I know a fun Facebook group (that I am in) full of ladies that are super supportive during the transition. Let me know if you want to join!

What color or toner do you use for your hair

I cut my hair on dic. 28th 2017almost like yours but with longer bangs. Most of my hair dye is gone, I only have color in the bangs as they are the longest parts of my hair all the other dye got cut off. I just decided that I wanted to transition into gray as coloring my black hair gray was damaging it too much. I don´t have as much gray as you but enough to make it look like highlights. I´m just in love with gray hair!!! I actually wish mine were all white or silver! I´m 47.

+Zohara Ally - Thank you for your kind words and for leaving a comment! You have nothing to lose except the time to grow it all out. See for yourself, then decide if you want to keep it. I know several women in their 30's who are silver and they love it! It's like having natural highlights! Besides... what did women do 100 years ago if they were grey at 30? Nothing! They just had it and didn't think a thing about it! lol Right? If you go natural and find it isn't for you, you can always go back to coloring it. I tried it at 39 and it wasn't half the silver it is now. I ended up dying it. Then, when I was 47, I was SO ready...I had my mind made up I would never go back to coloring it. Sometimes, it takes a time or two...to try it and see how it looks on us and how we feel about it. I also know several women that don't get a lot of support from their families and friends. All they hear, is how grey hair makes you look old. BUT, every single time I have seen a before picture with hair dye and an after picture with all natural silver, the silver hair makes them look YOUNGER!! It's because the hair dye isn't a natural hue or color so up against their skin, it tends to make them look older, more pale and more tired. On the other hand, the silver makes their faces brighten up and shine! They look well rested, invigorated, healthy and it just flatters them in a way the colored hair could never flatter them! Try it and see! if you don't like it, then at least you'll know! ;)
