People take draw 7s higher than they used to, people take cheap interaction higher than they used to. Both factors have dropped the hullbreacher stock, he's also thinking about who hes passing to and ability to hook them.

I’m pretty sure that Vaultborn Tyrant still triggers its own etb when it’s exiled to Nexus of Becoming. It should draw a card and gain 3 life no matter its power on etb. It’s still not the best with Nexus because its death trigger won’t happen because it’s already a token.

Its a let-down about the last game's ending, but also playing at the agreed level they all are at, it makes sense. And there's no actual way to undo it, like you could in paper. Unfortunate, but understandable.

I genuinely feel like karakas over hullbreacher is just a mistake. Weird. but im also not the greatest magic player of all time like him so i could be wrong. Just feels like hullbreacher being something you can build around that just shuts something like 40% of decks down is outrageous while also being a win condition especially when you get it p1

Remember that LSV drafts this cube a lot and is playing with friends for fun. So making a deliberate choice to play something else is understandable.

@LSVargas is legendary! Earlier in the video Luis said that Nathan should be legendary as a card (and I do think that the Steuer boy is great, we can say that he's almost a HOF), but the true legend here is Luis, bringing to us with an impressive consistency high quality Cube content, combined with awesome and powerful plays. I hope to see LSV's face in a Magic card in the future. I think we have time for this. I know its not something trivial (you need to become a World Champ), but Luis has proven him self so many times as great competitor, content creator and Magic player in general. The man deserves a title like this!

If you are talking about R3M1 that wasn't really needed to win the game. He needed all his mana to really go off and if by some chance Tank had a reanimate or something cheap to bring back the Headliner Scarlet and get a good swing in that could of been worse.

Literally last artifact deck where you cut Synthesizer I was wondering if it has a place in the cube. I kept thinking "are there even enough 3+ drop artifacts for it to work?" If an academy deck didn't want it, what deck did. This draft man... Synthesizer + infiltrator was a combo for the ages. A thing of beauty.

Very serious question, and pretty much watch all the dailies so hopefully I should catch the answer, but why has your valuation of talismans fallen so far? Taking Trinket Mage over U/G sure that's a preference pick, but then not taking the U/R right behind Othari had me bewildered. Do you see them as dead cards to have in your pool?

I'm pretty sure this deck he was building for 3+ cost artifacts as much as possible to maximize simulacrum. So the talismans aren't as good in it. But I could be wrong.

clearly it didn't matter and genuinely enjoyed the final deck, but would have appreciated any consideration of Arwen vs Othari with the context of Karakas potentially improving galadriel, granted that is probably not power cube brain energy. :)
