It is also cool to see that mengu apparently cares and comments on card flavor and print styles and non-competitive aspects of the game. I love all Pauper veedeo's on this channel. Tier 1 is great to see from such great players, but there are so many fun decks in the lower tiers too! Would love to see Mono-White Heroic in a matchup one day!

Also as far as suggestions for pauper decks to play…could you guys try out some of the more complicated decks, like Turbo Fog? I want to learn and understand and play it…but it boggles my mind. 29:05 I had the same experience when i was in Berlin for the BLB prerelease. Having some german knowledge made it okay but searching the scryfall set numbers for each card and trying to build a deck with them was quite the challenge. The one upside is having german cards to remember the trip by. (just like that volcanic spite)

Best part of Pauper is that even the meme decks are decent. If you show up at your LGS playing either of those decks, its totally feasible that you could have a positive record. The power ceiling and power floor are so close to each other in this format, as long as you're building with efficient cards in the colors and game plan of your choice. That Boros Gates deck is filled with staples also played in White Weenie, Boros Synth, and Caw Gates. Sure, Boros gates isn't the best way to play those cards right now, but it is more of a meta call than a strict power level issue with the deck.

I’m exclusively play with those Italian tron lands ever since I got them and used them back in 2014 and won a ptq with classic GR tron first froze was a play set of gofys and a box of of each of the innastard set best part is I didn’t even have to play the finals cause my brother was the other side of with BW tokens I won that match like 75-80% of the time so w ending bother a split the prizes any way he got a play set of dark confidants and a box of return to ravnica and 10 packs of innastard it was a good Saturday
