Dr Nicole from Miami, Monique from Potomac, Adrienne from Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump from Beverly Hills, maybe Carol from New York (& and probably a few more housewives) all left on their own accord and did so with some sort dignity/ self respect. Most housewives that get fired try to stay in the vortex in order to get back on the same horse, and I've always wondered why. That's not to say that they don't go through hell while filming or because of filming. I do agree with Aviva that these women are like graldiators. The fans who love to hate are never entertained. But, it does point to some sort of toxic attachment to the franchise both from the fans and from the women who cling on to this specific spotlight

See, the OGs of Housewives like Vicki can safely say they really didn’t know what they were signing up for because it was all so new at the time. There wasn’t any awareness of what the show would become and how big the impact would be. Aviva came onto RHONY way later in the show so there’s no way she can say she didn’t know what she was signing up for. Just admit you wanted the clout and fame and the only part that surprised you is that you became a villain instead of becoming a star. As for Cynthia, she makes a really important point about the producers and their involvement in the drama of the show. These women develop real relationships with each other and it’s not even Cynthia’s nature to act this way, and they’re asking her to betray her friend on television for a scene in the show when she would never speak about this in front of other people. When the producers started manipulating the women and then hiding their hands to make it seem organic is when the show took a dark turn and became too self-aware. Many of the show’s worst fights and revelations were really because of producers feeding info to the women, making them get drunk before having them go out into the environments, and creating havoc that wouldn’t have been there otherwise. For example, Phaedra’s revelation about Kandi at the table (the “Who said that?” scene) was given to her by a producer and she was pressured to say it in front of everyone, but then was kicked off the show for doing exactly what the producer told her to do. She and Kandi never spoke again because of that. They all got played.

The show was brought to each of the OG housewives as being a real life “Desperate Housewives” a show about women in drama and turmoil every episode. Reality tv in 2006 was already crazy as it is, you had flavor of love, Laguna Beach, the Hills, simple life, big brother, real world. Not to mention The OC show about rich people in drama, WHICH IS WHY BRAVO CASTED IN OC FIRST. Bravo was very clear in their inspiration. By the time housewives came around, everyone knew reality tv was based on craziness and antics ESPECIALLY Vicky who started the bullshit 😂 there’s no excuses for any of them and they ALL know what they signed up for, right from the start. And they all had access to huge entertainment attorneys
@kissad.79852 ай бұрын
You do realise that Pheadra specialized in entertainment as a lawyer, right? She is a known proven vindictive mean spirited individual. She was always desperate for fame and BB told y'all years before Rhoa but for some reasons, people like to make excuses for her. She knew exactly what she was doing and what was doing hence she got caught off guard talking about it when she thought that the cameras were down. Porsha was just dumb enough to take it and run with it because bravo made her. To everyone out out there, watch and learn. Whenever someone tells you stories privately but refuses to get slightly close to their own words in front of others, that's definitely a good sign for you to be cautious. Pheadra is a very manipulative person. She did it to every single one of them including her own ex husband, father of her kids. Need any more details? Exactly! Pheadra , Porsha, Kandi and CK all grabbed the opportunity given to speak on it and they all did except for her. Pretty telling. She is way too shrew for this to be a coincidence, random, etc... She was mad at Kandi and tried to destroy her but failed! 👀

I still cant believe people sign these contracts - no money, no residuals, what do you mean you can use my image and face in perpetuity for the rest of time across any platform??? Insane that its even legal

Their need for attention is greater than any brain power they may have.

This is a hard watch when the whole time all you are thinking is "what the EFF did you expect?" Aviva had to be one of the worst housewives ever. If she was so concerned about the sounds of her doing #2 were going to be captured on film and broadcast on national television then she probably shouldn't have joined the show. But she DID join.

Vicki being on this is hilarious. Her tag was “I’m the OG of the OC, everyone else is just a copy.” She’s just mad it exposed her bf for faking cancer.

I can't say I feel sorry for any of these ladies because they signed these contracts cause they wanted the fame. But Andy really disgusts me. Lying through his teeth about these people. Just admit your only talent is making money off of women acting foolish.
