Debby from Gulfcoast of Mississippi here. I am wiping the tears from my face! This was an absolutely incredible gift from all of you. I feel as if I have gone on safari with very good friends. Michael, your photography is incredible. Wonderful shots! Gerald, your humor, as always, made everything so much fun and watching Phillips face seeing this for the first time was a treat. As always your narration and Victorian history of the safari was so informative and interesting! Thank you so so much with all my heart. Having said all of this I would be remiss if I didn’t include how wonderful to see Percy and Isabelle. I believe Michael’s Mum was also there. How wonderful.

I think it's the closest I've ever come to feeling like I was on an African safari myself, almost as if I was riding along in the jeep with everyone, all thanks to Stephanie's filming and Michael Potts' extraordinary close-up photography. What a very special treat, as was Stephanie's comment on the cheetahs circling close by: "If they wanted to they could outrun the Land Rover. They can run between 80-130 kilometers an hour -- just a little bit slower than my mother." Oh my gosh, a good laugh out of that one. Then Gerry's visit from the hyenas. Sure glad he didn't open the door to hand feed them!

I went to Kenya in ‘88 and had the most extraordinary experiences. I had travelled by myself but quickly made friends both with other holiday makers and the staff. I did a three day safari and saw everything you saw except leopard. Having seen them in the wild I can not bring myself to see such noble animals in a zoo or worse still in a circus. They deserve to roam free on endless acres. Your safari took me back to my safari and my short time in Africa however they say once Africa is in your blood you will not rest until you return. Thank you for taking me back and satisfying my longing to return to Africa. Such a wonderful vlog, thank you for taking us all with you.

The thing about safari rain is that it is hard, fast, horizontal and can shatter your glasses. You were so lucky to see so many types of creatures in just a few drives. Love the novel headwear, so fetching! Please can we donate some of the Chateau unwrapped money to African animal conservation charities? We all need to cherish what we have. Thank you Stephanie for this treat.

This was AMAZING. As a photographer, I was dying to be there with my camera. The highlight of the trip, though, I have to say, is that having the same sense of humor, I was laughing with tears rolling down my face at "Thunder and lightning very very frightening ..." (which I sing anytime there is a storm. Yes, my children even heard that as babies. LOL) and I spit my drink out when Phillip said, "Nobody puts baby in a corner" because I thought it at the same time!!! Dying laughing. Oh, I love you people. You are my people. I have to make it to Lalande some day. Michael, your photography is incredible! (I lamented when you saw the sleeping lion and Philip didn't sing "In the jungle, the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight.")
