You’re going to need to change the tensioner pulley to a dayco pulley (part #89016) installed in reverse on the oem tensioner to accommodate the bigger belt so it doesn’t rip them 👍🏻 I’d also recommend a mdp supercharger bracket to get rid of all belt slip, it definitely helped me out, hope this helps love the Honda content! 💯

As an 8th gen owner, I’m jealous because you’ve been able to do far far more than I have in 3 years on mine, lots of parts I plan to get eventually in this video.

Before working on anything rusted I usually spray penetrating oil on all components that need to be serviced. I think this technique isn’t utilized enough. Especially if you’ve given the oil enough time. I love all the videos I can see the work that goes into them. Thanks much appreciated

Hear me out. For that granny spec EG sedan, it would be pretty sweet if you did an OEM style K20/24 swap and installed a quiet exhaust to be extra stealthy. Upgrade the suspension but keep the ride height close to stock. Find some lightweight OEM aluminum wheels that look basic as all hell, and boom, you've got yourself a nice factory style sleeper. Was always a bucket list build of mine lol.

Use that 4 door eg to build a super sleeper. Keep it looking 100% stock and go awd/turbo b or k, that would be amazing.

2:36 normally when the air lift won't pull enough vacuum it doesn't have a good enough seal at the filler neck. Sometimes putting on your coolant bucket adapter and trying to suck through that works or sometimes a radiator pressure tester adapter works. Sometimes you gotta fuck around with it but its worth it because it keeps you from having to struggle with air pockets. IMO air lifting incorrectly can cause more air pockets than just the bucket alone - but thats just a theory of mine based on experience.

Wow those rear trailing arm bushings are a nightmare, I’m glad to see how it’s done tho. I wish I could have that too. So if I was to pay someone to do that it’s gonna cost a lot 😢 I think I will have to keep that stock. Have you guys considered the rigid collars for the front and rear subframe? It helps a lot. Euro R CL1 h22a swap the eg sedan.... I have one with a full high comp build and it goes really hard ... you can definitely see why they used the sedan in the old JGTC touring car racing back in the 90s, think even Tsuchiya drove a advan one as well

13:56 aren't things like potholes and bumps actually high speed compression and not low speed? i would think low speed damping is more important for the track and you shift weight side to side. high speed is important when you hit a curbing or pothole. so i would think sport comfort valving to have much less damping in the high speed compression than in the low speed compression

Id like to see an episode on the EG8. Being a sedan, i feel like the correct thing to do is a simple B20 swap with light touches of early 2000s JDM vibes... not the full bronze glass treatment, but maybe a few Ferio parts here and there.

I have had no problems getting the air out of the cooling system by removing the valve for injector bleed air where the upper radiator hos connects to the engine on my K20 and just filling up with a small funnel. Works just fine even without vaccum. But i think that part may be different on the K24 and different for some swap kits.
