To help you with the kick stand: If you are having trouble hitting the knob with your heel, try using the sole of your boots, like instead of pushing your foot straight down, tilt your foot outwards and sideways, then come in towards the kick stand, and use the sole and friction to “drag” the it down.

Those triumph 400s are manufactured here in India. I rode them last year. They really offer crazy crazy value, specially the scrambler one. And since we are talking about bikes made in India you should also check out Royal Enfield. I know you are not into classic bikes but they make some of the best looking classic bikes and they got rich history, basically older than harley itself. Continental Gt650, shotgun 650 and classic 350 are the once i recommend you to check out. cheers!

I dont understand the theory of buying 5 diffenet bikes before buying a liter bike. How much money is that? To me its ridiculous. Be safe. Dont go places or do stuff your not comfortable doing. Take your time doing the basics. Stay off the highways forawhile. Just down the driveway or up a street and ba k for a week. Then a few blocks. Make sure you actually have your license. Go to a safe place where you cN practice tight turns and start stops. Stay in lower gears. Thats what did with the 765. It took a month or so before i felt safe enough for the highway. Even then it tooka while. I spent 10k.

My thoughts exactly. Get the bike you want, and be responsible and sensible. Practice , practice, practice

It definitely makes more sense to do this with the lower power modes offered on the liter bikes now. You definitely have to be disciplined and trust yourself to put in the work.

In 2005 I bought my first Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe because I wanted to cruise and just relax and enjoy the view. I've owned several Harleys and I've become a really good rider. I now own two Harleys, a Vespa, and a new BMW R18B. I'm in the process of buying a 2001 Honda RC51 😎. Be safe and learn as much you can and always be safe 🙏😎.

Best beginner is definitely something like a grom or Z125 with crash bars. Buy one for $2k, drop it a million times in the parking lot and it doesn’t matter then sell it a season later for $2k and buy a full size bike.
@thoughtaken9 ай бұрын
i disagree. groms are too small to teach you about everything there is about riding, you need to be able to control the weight of a full-size bike
@sho_k19 ай бұрын
I dont know what grom is but yes 100cc class bikes are good for learning about gears, braking and acceleration. But youll outgrow these bikes in a month or two max so yeah its a hassle in that sense.

@@thoughtaken Man I consider that the best bike would probably a 125cc Spanish bike wich many times are easy to drive and are pretty cheap. My favourite would be a MITT GP2. No, too small. A Z400 or similar is great. It’s 350ish pounds full of fluid. Can do 80mph and is cheap to fix. Small bikes are great for low speed technical riding but you don’t learn any highway riding skills on a slow bike.
