Just two days ago i decided to make my hotel's reservations online, because i gonna travel abroad soon. I was excited because a found good prices, so i paid everything in one morning, by card. One hour later, i noticed that i made a really big mistake. I Changed the dates! Almost all the hotels asked for a expensive charge to cancel or change the reservations. I think i'd lost about 1000 euros. So i tried to fix my mistakes. I emailed the hotels asking to have some mercy and to forgive the charges, and i prayed to God :D. Fortunelly, the owners forgiven my debt, and so i was able to buy the right rooms, in the correct dates. I've never been so afraid in my life, but God saved me at this situation. I'd like to thank you for all help that you offers to us. This channel is the best on you tube. I've been learn a lot with you in the last 3 months, studying everyday. Thank you a lot!

Something I dislike when I go shopping is; when seller has agreed to sell something to me for a certain price then he/she denies to deliver it to me just because it appears to be cheaper than he/she expected. This had happened to me one day, I wanted to buy a *tv* but unfortunately that seller was out of stock for that moment, he called someone else if he had one of the model I asked him. Fortunately there were two sizes of the same model I wanted, he gave me the price for both, but what he made me angry was when he came with the products he wanted me to take the small one with the same price that I had granted him for the bigger one since he found out that the price was a bit cheaper than they got used of selling that product. Thank you for your videos, they surely help many of English learners.

The things I dislike about the shopping at the mall is so crowded and it's difficult to looking for a parking especially on pay day and at the end of the months. Positive things shopping at the mall is, there is so many things to do, many choices, many items, many brands that you want to buy and get all at one place. You can try the clothes that you want to buy and don't need to worry about getting wrong sizes. You could also negotiate the prices and you might get a season sales or monthly sales which is not given to online customers. But in my country, all the shopping mall they don't give services like refunding and exchanging the clothes and things what you've bought expect warranty items such as phones, laptops, cars and so on. But I think there is options for VIP customers despite they didn’t buy for warranty items. That is a one thing that I want to get services like other countries even though I bought small amount. Hope you enjoying reading it and waiting for your response.

First of all Shopping is very important topic for english learners since it is part of daily things that every needs to do. If I tell something about shopping stories that I've experienced, It was last week When I went to the mall to buy variety of thigs and I returned a rice to them, I told them that I decided to buy another kind of rice. They asked me to show the receipt that they gave me when I bought this product and I showed them but unfortunately the rice I was looking for was just stocked out.
@Oxfordonlineenglish12 жыл бұрын
Hi Abdalla. Thanks for watching and sharing. Here are some corrections for you: 1) '...buy a variety of things,' not, '...buy variety of thigs.' 2) Did you return a 'bag of rice' or 'a box of rice'? 'Rice' itself is uncountable so we can't 'return a rice'. Hope this is useful for you!
