I think I can explain about the Pillowtalk powder blush because I was so excited about it when it came out. I think the reason some Pillowtalk things are peach/orange is because they all came out at the same time. So, if you applied a whole face of Pillowtalk products, you wouldn't want it all to be mauve. The Pillowtalk matte blush wand is what I've been waiting for all these years! Viva la Pillowtalk mauve!

Hi Hannah! If you love the colour of that CT mascara then I suggest you look into Canmake Quick Lash Curler mascaras - they make several different coloured ones including 'Wine Mauve', 'Baked Orange', and 'Mocha Greige'! They also have a 'Dark Cherry' colour in their Off-Surun range.

Something that came to mind when you spoke about the Surratt mascara - you may consider buying disposable mascara wants. I understand that part of the use value of a mascara is the formula + the wand, but it could be helpful to have them in case you do find an opportunity to pass them on to someone else

My recent reckoning was a successful purge! I decluttered 24 lipglosses and lip balms and replaced them with 3 YSL candy glaze gloss sticks. I don't care about the price because I will use up the YSL bullets and scrap the sides until they are empty cartridge shells 😊 I also recently decluttered the Kjaer Weis blushes in the same colors for the same reason: why so orange on the cheeks?

Oh boy, a longass comment from me. **waves** Lounging here this morning, guzzling down a large mug of half decaf french press I crufted up a bit ago. Gotta say that I only brew coffee on Sundays; the rest of the week I drink tea (except for when my son or husband treat me with a half decaf breve from the local drive thru coffee shop,) and had to get up and grab another mugful by the 10 minute mark. It's just hitting the spot for me this morning. So, I'm ready to check out your pending stay-go stash. Can't go beyond 2 mugs, so I've slowed down on the sipping. Ya, as I've said in the past, I'd love to find a cream, or baked (no cones, or castor oil & its derivatives,) version of MISSHA smoked hazel. I've tried a couple of cream sticks that have been suggested, and nothing is like it, yet. These are similar powders, so I haven't tried them, if anyone is looking for a variation of smoked hazel: Romand oat grain, Peripera hazel grey, and Rarekind contour trio. Are you still reaching for your old gum SNY recipe, HLP? If we could get a premix of it, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I've not fiddled with my SNY this summer, alas, and I had been trying to make a recipe that suits. I can't use KW due to the ingredients, so I've never tried them , even to test comparison. **lonely howl in the night** Watching you go through various complexion products has allowed me to slow down again, because anything that comes close to matching me, matches you, but you can use it because your skin isn't as cranky about ingredients. Here's one for you: I no longer use rose inc concealer because, and I'm totally serious, it ends up looking dull on me. That's not due to the undertone, but the fact that my sensitive, dry skin looks matte once it sets. It doesn't matter how much prepping I do, between my skin at its baseline, plus being in a semi-arid climate, products have to be even more luminous than most folks are looking for, I think. I also think it tweaks my texture a bit because of the castor oil derivative in it. It's perfect when it's wet. Even though it's not a perfect match, I have a similar issue with LYS foundation: skin starts out looking juicy and hydated, then once it sets it's almost matte. Honestly, all I'm using these days are Elizavecca Skin Liar Moisture cream (it's white,) LA Girl pro concealer in lavender (it's greyish!) in very small amounts, and Jillian Dempsey spot stick concealer in 01. The concealer's description says it's matte, but it has ingredients that my skin doesn't balk at (at least not yet.) Someone thought it was too waxy, and its second ingredient is a wax, but warmed up on my fingers works fine. I'll use these until something more ideal comes along. Over previous decades, I've used mascaras that were colored for redheads, because black is too harsh for me, and most browns have too much black. The issue was that those auburn mascaras either irritated my eyes, or didn't perform well. Ought to clarify a bit that irritation isn't exclusive to them - that happens with most mascaras. Anyway, that CT mascara looks to be in the same range of hues as those auburn mascaras of the past. I'd like to get a couple more surratt batons, but one of the colors I was interested seems to have been discontinued, which is navy.😕 I'm eyeing that sigma blush, because even though it's got an obvious cone at the midway point, and I have to read and see if there are any other hidden cones, that hue kinda sorta reminds me of an old aveda fav: windburn. Lastly, a number of those Juvia's place glosses have me curious, but I'd want to see them in person.🤔 Thanks, HLP!

Your description about the matte Kjaer Weis blushes made me go looking for them. I had been thinking about trying them for a long time and hadn’t because they are so expensive side and I wasn’t sure I’d like them. I am a true cream blush junkie! It’s the makeup product I love most. I don’t wear foundation - just spot conceal any slightly red areas or an occasional blemish, so blush is my thing. I found the refills on sale for $16 each on Farfetch and I immediately got 4 of the colors I liked. I know this should be a decluttering inspiration but it just made me shop haha. Which is fine. I truly adore blush! Funny thing is I didn’t like the charlotte tillbury PT color because on my skin is too mauvey. I have light to light-med olive skin and these colors show up so different on my skin. You may like the Pillow talk medium better. It’s more bronze rosy which is so good. Thanks for this declutter!

I don't know about everyone else, but I would be incredibly interested in a review of canmake products!! I know that you like their cream highlighter, and I actually own it because of you, but if you like the burgundy mascara, can make has a brown (tubing, I think) mascara that I have rather enjoyed in the past. It's a lovely light chocolate brown

I use the Misha BB cream exactly like I used the Purito BB cream which it replaced. It is the perfect grey mix in when I run into issues with, well, anything. Also, there are some days where I just use a tiny bit of it as a one and done to very lightly even out my skintone.

This video was candy to me, LOVED IT! 🍬💓 Btw I had the same disappointment with the Inner glow blush. :/ When Kackie swatched it on her forehead I fell in love with how grey/unsaturated it was, but on my fair olive skin it was more of a summer/peach blush. Oh well! I’m still going to keep it, but my search for an « old gum » continues… so far the closest in my collection is applying Lorna Dune 💄on my cheeks! 😂

I will never get over how much better of a match that shade is for so many ppl than like 99% of base products on the market (probably cause the stuff made in labs in north america and europe is so often made without any blue pigment). how sad that they've changed the shades now

I was sooooo disappointed to find that Abundance is straight up copper on me. The strong wax smell is a turnoff (which I would get over if ONLY it was the cooler shade it’s purported to be) So… I’m reluctantly striking Inner Glow from my wish list
