The heavier stuff on cd doesn't get the best mastering treatment in general ! A well mastered cd on quality equipment is what it's all about !

Hi i think Digital formats through headphones causes fatigue quicker rather than analogue vinyl or something going in to a quality amp etc seems more natural ,also cds use laser tech to put music on to discs where as vinyl is done more through vibration from master plates by creating grooves and moving air same as the instruments do such a guitar or bass in the recording process and human ear picks this up more on these frequencies.

Depends on the mastering - Heavier stuff doesn't get the best treatment in general !
