I met psychicpebbles the other day at my grocery store. He was honestly pretty cool, like a really nice guy. I spilled some produce and he personally helped picked them up. A young baby was crying in the corner, with a mother weeping, as she couldn't breastfeed him. Zach came over and let the baby sip from his supple man milkers. What a stand up guy!

I saw Oney at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

this summer i met chris at Indy pop con! he was just walking around the main floor, by himself, not doing anything. i was like, "hey oney! can i get a picture?" and he was like "yea sure!"me and my friends got some pictures and we chatted a bit and that was it. i was too nervous to ask him the questions i was thinking about before meeting him. and so after meeting him i felt so dumb and wanted to ask him my questions but instead i just kinda looked at him like a derp and decided to not keep bugging him cuz i felt like if i really wanted to i could ask him my questions at another time. and other people started to notice him and talk to him too. so even though i was really nervous and anxious and wanted to ask him the questions i forgot, i decided to just leave it and try to not be annoying. but he was really nice!

I worked at a casino and heard that this comedian was performing there, I saw him on TV and thought he was pretty funny. I don't know who specifically, It was a guy that Gabriel Iglesias knew, one of those guys. Anyway, sure enough I worked as a busser and he was in our restaurant. I really wanted to stop by the table and say that I liked his comedy. However i made my way to his table cleaning as I got closer, and he was in a horrible mood. He was in a quiet argument with I'm assuming a manager type person. I got to his table and asked the usual question "Hi, are you finished with your meal?" He looked at me, still upset and said "Uh, yeah, yeah you can take it, I'm done". He was still upset by whatever conversation he was having. So I cleared his table and left. I was bummed out that I didn't get to say what I wanted, but it wasn't the time or place to bother someone that upset at the moment. Overall, I'm glad I didn't.

What Zach says is something all the new generation of kids that want to be influencers should hear By all means, if you want to entertain people, go for it, even if you show your face and people recognize you, focus on the core message of what he said and only surround yourself with people that treat you as a person BEYOND that "celebrity status"

Well people are still gonna listen to his voice, read up on him, and constantly make jokes about him as a person. People may really like his work but him as a person has always been center stage whenever people bring it up. Yeah the works being appreciated but I still see more and more fan influxes of people who just obsess over him as a person and I can’t help but feel bad. People still see him as just that wacky guy, and treat him like that everywhere online, so I’m sure it’s gonna be the same irl as well. Yes, the shows great, amazing that it’s getting attention, but I don’t think what you’re saying is entirely true.

Zach is very entertaining outside of just his body of work in animation. As a society, I think we value the act of taking a picture or getting an autograph of somebody, rather than actually interacting with that person ourselves. The picture itself IS the event--not the meeting. You are doing this for the express purpose of showing other people that you have their name on something that you own. It's really weird.

Zach *not* wanting to be seen as this famous demigod is way too reflective of the fact that Smiling Friends was made by him along with Michael Kusack (who started as a fan of the former), but the latter completely gets neglected just because he's not as popular or well known. But if you think about it, who do you think had that bare-minimum industry experience to get the other guy into being involved as a creator?

I feel so hard for Mick. I was the chubby kid all the way up to high school, despite being pretty active with football and track. When I joined the wrestling team I lost about 60 pounds over the course of a year. My social circle grew insanely fast, I started dating people, and overall everyone treated me differently - from kids to adults. It honestly felt like instead of being pitied I was respected, and people actually wanted to engage with me. It still bugs me to this day, but overall I appreciate the perspective. Like Mick I try really hard to be genuine with people and not put on some sickly sweet persona out of pity or something.

Celebrities are there for you to hound and harass. Never feel bad about inconveniencing some egomaniacal fame-monger.

I don't think that many people do honestly. I'd want the money and enough contacts to throw some banger parties with it occasionally but otherwise I want nothing to do with that shit.

I fucking hate the idea of going to a convention full of people who could either be nerds still in secondary school who can't control themselves or people with special needs who still live with their parents and indulge in shit like anime. Watching them open their mouths to ask a question about cartoons or nerdy shit would be a pain in the ass because I would already know where they'd stand in the social stratus of society if the question they asked was "Do you watch the Dream SMP" or "Who's your favourite My Hero Academia character?". And I've been stuck with people like that in secondary school who don't shut up about whatever nerdy shit they like, so that would just bring back some major PTSD.

13:30 you saw the true face of humanity. It's fickle existence is derived off of simple pleasures. Because of this people care about these things in this order and in this percentage amount: 70% is how you look, 20% is what you actually do, and only 10% is what you say. If anything that showed you that you are of substance and they are not. As for Zach's rant it just sounds like he's being humbled while everyone else doesn't have that ability.

Yeah, getting brushed off by blokes who think they’re hot shit ain’t fun. That’s why I prefer books and a small circle of tribe friends.

I think there should be a movement to physically tackle and beat people who try to approach celebrities, even e-tier ones, like a sort of vigilante bodyguard thing. If you're walking in the street and see a celeb you should shadow them and watch out. If you see any creepy weirdos try to go up and talk to them, you should full on double leg takedown and ground and pound them with poisoned brass knuckles. Then when they are KO'd or dead (who cares), if the celeb tries to say anything you should scream I'MNOTCREEPYIDON'TWANTTOBOTHERYOU really loud and run away really fast.

Peebles: I don't really feel like I deserve a picture, I don't really put my face out there I want people to appreciate my work not the person behind it. Also Peebles: they didn't even care who I was until they heard what I made, and then they were all happy about it and talking about how cool it was. It was the slimiest I've ever felt.

Mick being offended that high schoolers would rather hang out with and date a fit, outgoing guy when they didn't want to hang out with and date a quiet little fat kid irritates me every time I listen to it.

I actually interned at Comedy Central last year and got to meet Zach. He told me to put my mask over my nose. I am generally opposed to masks and the plandemic, but I just obliged him and didn’t make a scene. The executives there basically treated him like a demigod so I thought it best not to tread on his toes.
