When I got my first hamster I was 9 (4 years ago) I only now realise how small the Savic cages actually are and am saving for a detolf but I just wish my first hamster had a better life - it’s just upsetting knowing people will fall for the same tricks these shops pull

It isnt. 1. Its their temporary home 2. If it was bigger there would be a lot less hamsters. 3. That is the LEAST bad thing they do look ad PETA exposing them every single fucking month

Ahhh early I'm meant to be doing homework but that can wait. I use that wood shavings for my hamsters and it my pet shop it only costs £5 it's also has literally no dust in it and is quite soft for shavings. I also recently got another hamster and he's a robo.

When i was about 6 we had a hamster and the cages were literally TINY literally a bit bigger than my hand and obviously my parents didn’t know nor did i i was a child but we got the cages and that was so cruel of us. I have 1 hamster now and i’m so glad my cage for her is so much bigger! Generally cruel that they sell tiny cages

Oh no 😣 my first hamster cage was tiny! I’ve been through many upgrades. Some people just don’t realise how much space hamsters need because even though they are small they are incredibly active ! I’m glad your current hamster is living a good life ☺️💕

I was at a pet shop about half an hour ago and bought Nibbles (the hammy in my profile pic) some birthday presents and I also ordered some viovet stuff and amazon stuff, honestly I’ve spend about £100 on him and I’m going to pets at home soon to get him more stuff! He’s absolutely spoiled and I spend all my money on him haha! I’m also getting another hammy for Christmas and I’m soooo excited! We’ve decide on the name Milo:)

Hamsters don't really eat a lot it takes my dwarfs about 2 - 3 days to finish their food. If you feel like your hamster is not eating all its food maybe your feeding too much at a time or maybe your hamster could be a picky eater xx

Cashmeres cage is not little it’s above the minimum size. However cashmere bites the bars so that’s why I prefer cupcake being in there

I’ve been using the cage as a storage container for substrate since 2019 and we are now in 2021. I don’t use this cage anymore I just use the detolf which you can see in recent videos which has more substrate as my care has improved over the past couple years. I now have a Russian dwarf called Bluebelle who I got in September 2020.
