I love how much energy you put towards growing yourself in areas that make you uncomfortable. I know your kids are excited about the steps you’re taking to becoming less anxious so that you can be more active in their lives outside of the house. Play dates, parties, school field trips etc.

I am 75 and still travel but will not have enough time to get to all these beautiful places. Thank you for taking us along. Widowed I am lucky to have a sister and sister in law who will travel with me. Thank you Jen for being brave and traveling alone.

Yay! I’ve lived in Washington my whole life and it’s so fun to see you explore this beautiful state. The Gorge is my favorite venue. Watching a band you love while the sun sets over the Gorge is magical. Me and my husband have seen Dave there several times!

I love your travel vlogs! And I loved that adorable little AirBNB. But what I love most is how you are normalizing the idea of traveling alone!! if it’s a woman: “she must have no friends,” “her family hates her,” “so lonely”…and on and on and on. People think they know everything about a person because they’ve seen a slice of their life online (y’all know who you are). So keep filming for all the introverts, older women, divorced women or those who just love to spend time alone. You got this girl. And MOST of us are in your corner. The internet is filled with articles and pages and blogs of women traveling solo. I’m over 70 and you’ve inspired me to write my bucket list. I may never leave my recliner, but the planning is exhilarating ❤

Jen! I have been watching you for many, many years. This September was my first ever trip to the Gorge for LaborDave weekend. You actually passed my site in Premiere in this video. We were right next to the large Teepee tent! That weekend was an emotional and spiritual experience I could have never prepared for. I hope you had a mystical and magical 3 nights 🧡🌞🙏

I’m so enjoying your travel videos! Enjoying them to the point I wanna visiting and camp at the places you’ve shared! Says a lot as I’m SO NOT a camper, more of a glamper!😂 On a serious note, truly wondering: you’ve mentioned several times throughout your series of videos that you travel as a way to cope with not being with your children. Would you mind sharing what you’re doing to learn/gain the necessary coping skills? I ask because my kids will soon leave for college and I’m already dreading it! Yes, I can travel but more importantly I think it may be best for me to learn how to cope, gain those coping skills as tomorrow, a nice nest egg in the bank, or health is ever guaranteed!
