The crucifix inhabits a magical 4•5m aura that can protect you from the ghost. You have to throw it down BEFORE your flashlight starts blinking close to the ghosts spawn point. If the crucifix is in range of the ghosts spawning point it will cause the ghost to not be able to hunt for a period of time. When the crucifix has been used 1 time you have to pick it up and re-do. After 2 prevented hunts the crucifix is destroyed.

I have not laughed this hard in a long time . I have been an investigator for many years . I have been on Ghost Adventures , I work with the local news doing specials around Halloween , I also work with the local historical society , museums and old prison doing events . I love the paranormal and will never leave this field . Keep up the great work . Wish my comp was up to par so I could do stuff like this with y'all . I only have a core I5 and it maxes out and freezes on five m all the time .

Once the players figure out the Ghost Room, they can prevent the ghost from initiating a hunting phase by placing the Crucifix on the ground of the room. It only has a 3 meter radius for most ghosts, though it does work for 5 meters in any direction on Banshees. It will be useless if the player is simply holding it @polecat324 live
