Dad comment: Parents you've got to trust your young adults even though every fibre of you wants to wrap them up and keep them safe. They will make mistakes, feel some pain and learn from it. Young adults....just give your parents a little reassurance...it'll keep us off your back!! Side note....Ellie did have a dilemma about whether/when to tell her tutors and friends about her epilepsy or whether to stick with her natural urge to look cool at all costs. Luckily she told them all at the first opportunity...shortly before being whisked off to A&E after necking, "just a couple" of Tequilas!! Tell them....decisions are easy when you have no choice!
