Although I can agree that it was a bad idea to copy that creator's style, you can take away one positive thing And this slower and calmer video was more attractive to watch than over-editing. As a Creator who does the same thing and edits a lot, it is something that is not sustainable over time, and you gain a lot of people who only see you for your editing and NOT for the content or the person, so bravo I think You can create interesting videos with good editing and brilliant moments, without having to make a mona lisa of the Video editing.
