I'm from the United States, San Diego, California. 🇺🇲 I love the film. I've seen it two times in IMAX. I never thought a film from the Godzilla franchise would get me emotional. Minus One had more depth than I anticipated. The action sequences were amazing but more importantly, they served the narrative and development of the main protagonist. Not to mention when Godzilla's theme plays for the first time and uses the heat ray was incredible. 🤯💕 I'll try to see the film a third time in the cinema, but I think it may be leaving the theaters here soon.

Good to hear from a fellow moviegoer across the pond. We are equally surprised how this film is well received worldwide. Go Gozi!
I'm from 🇺🇸 United States in the state of New York! Saw it in theaters and oh my goodness... it was spectacular. It was dark, frightening, gloomy, but also hopeful at the right moment. The human spirit was highlighted at the end of the movie. It is FANTASTIC. Bravo to the cast, crew and director of this movie. I hope to see more from toho soon!
Hello, my Japanese isn't good enough to communicate with but if you can read this, how does Japan like the American Godzilla series?

@@robstefani9853 It's difficult to create a beautiful human drama, the horror of Godzilla, and fierce battles between monsters all at the same time in one work. Especially in recent Japanese Godzilla movies, we have not been able to enjoy the battles between monsters. We are grateful to Hollywood for providing us with it using higher technology. @@robstefani9853 Most Godzilla films, excluding the first Godzilla, have emphasized the destruction by kaiju (monsters) and the heroic aspect of Godzilla protecting Earth from these kaiju, particularly in the so-called "vs series." Hollywood's Godzilla enhances this theme with overwhelming visuals, and many Japanese audiences appreciate it. Films like Shin Godzilla and -1.0 can be considered a return to the roots. It's not a matter of one being better than the other; Japanese audiences love both for their respective strengths.

@@robstefani9853 Thank you for your comment. Godzilla from America is popular in Japan as well. In 2014, Godzilla grossed 3.2 billion yen in Japan. I was very impressed that it was made with high Hollywood technology while respecting Japan's Godzilla. Godzilla from King of the Monsters is a king, but at the same time he looked like a yakuza boss lol
