Probably many of the audience doesn't know all of Gojira, and all their songs. So they just started at a decent moment. But if you know which song they are starting, then you will wait. There is a version of this song live somewhere else, and Joe is warning people to not start too early :D because there is that intro coming first

At the one Testament concert I had the honour to see, the bass player was a beast. It was ridiculous, he was pretty stationary, but he had the powerstances down af and every movement was awesome. Ironically he left the band after that tour because they didn't pay enough.
