In this video we'll watch Gojira's Flying Whales live at the Poland Rock Festival. Gojira is a technical death metal band from France. The year is 2018 and along the way I'll point out some of the music theory used in the track. Things like intervals, Chords, scales and key signatures. So grab your axe and follow along muhahaha.

@The7empest
@The7empest 2 жыл бұрын
@@ligma6496 I love Global Warming a lot, but come on you can’t tell me it’s better composition than The Chant, it’s quite literally 2 riffs repeated over a 7 minute song, it took me all of 5 minutes to learn it on guitar, whereas The Chant took me a few hours to learn. The same could also be said about Born In Winter, literally 2 riffs that repeat the whole song, it’s really pretty simple composition to be completely honest. The Chant has actual lead licks and solos that differ from just playing the same riffs again and again.

reminded me of dethklok with the ocean theme, On the moshing issue: I like watching moshing, depens on the band also, i think trash is more appropiate for moshing, i wouldnt mosh in a dream theater concert for instance haha, and I've been in a couple but now im more careful since i've received my fair share of hits haha (In Chile people actually engage in serious fights on the mosh sometimes, specially if you are close to the stage fighting for a spot). And i would like to see a Kmac analysis haha not but seriously he kicks ass , for instance imposter or wolf in sheeps clothing

On my turf, here in good ol' Germany, there're some rules given - for one: be nice and take care of the fallen for they are too weak to carry the weight of them heavy stuff, and second: qeue up for the chopping-hatchet-polonaise-action at a breakdown if you can. Intensify with props if needed (can be a toy T-Rex or on a more serious plane - a leek). If there's no polonaise, you're ought to start one - it's the law. Only once I was put in my place - at a black metal gig, where some uncultured pig couldn't handle my 'hairy load'.
