I don't know why Gojira is so accessible for non metalheads, when it's one of the heaviest sounds you can get. I keep introducing people to metal through them, and I'm damn sure they'll never stop enjoying it since I didn't either. This band brings so much tribal and raw vibes, it's a blessing.

While they're very heavy, their music is also very groovy and often very melodic. Also the vocals, while harsh, are often just a sort of distorted speech rather than more classical growls. It's so intense, it's interesting, gets you moving, and you don't feel like you're being screamed at aimlessly (at least not as much as with other bands with harsh vocals)

hey guys !!!so happy you shared this video ( again ) !!! you ought to know , though , that the "Brixton academy" is quite a big venue ( to european standards ) , most of London's venues are old theaters and can hold 2000 to 4.000 people ( i lived in London in the 80's - 90's and seen gigs in most of them ) , wich creates this "intimate" feeling wich i think is great !!! - now , this is gonna be my eternal request to you , but i won't quit until you react to "remembrance" , this old Gojira song ( 2003 ) is played live in an even smaller french venue in Bordeaux , France - the video is part of an entire concert wich was released on dvd , called "the link live" (also available on U Tube ) - the song in itself will leave you speechless , i promise ( especially the end ) ,also , it's kind of funny to see them when they were younger.Anyway , i'll turn 53 next month , and i'd love a reaction to this song as a birthday present !!!! - love you guys - greetings from Bora Bora

I saw Gojira at Knotfest on Aug. 20 in Toronto and Gojira was amazing!!! I had only heard a couple songs from them beforehand. I was there for Slipknot and they delivered. But since then I've listed to Gojira everyday since the concert. They were loud, they were heavy and they were amazing!!! Looking forward to hearing everything they have to offer. Hope to see them live again in the future.
