Majin Buu may be old news on todays standards.. but he was mentioned with respect in this film, and even in Super as 1 of the 2 must not challenge warriors in the universe. Crazy how the most powerful characters in dbz are seemingly some of the most simple minded and primal. Gotta admit. Goku’s SS3 is pretty legit. The only reason Vegeta never cared to learn the SS3 transformation is because he knows the limitations of it and how fast his energy would drain. That’s why he skipped that transformation.

It uses far too much stamina to be of any use against these newer villains. And I keep hearing Goku only achieved it because he was dead at the time and his dead body was able to handle the strain of Super Sayain 3 more easily. There’s a lot of theories out there about it because I don’t think the creator has come out and explained why.
